- If you're stressed, you should play
- If you feel the need to break things, you should play
- If you like skills that are used all together and over and over again like a atomic bomb, you should play

long story short, the juice isnt worth the squeeze.
-an absolutely absurd grind with millimetre sized baby step progression,
-an "i think i'm developing cataracts" visual style(even on ultra).

The game is about survival and is roguelite in nature, a bit of a spinoff from the Shades of Rayna which is a game I also recommend. You survive waves against hordes of monsters and get ability upgrades to last as long as you can. Takes a bit of a learning curve and starts slow but as you get stronger with each run it gets a lot more enjoyable.
Join the discord! The Dev is really helpful and willing to listen to any suggestions you have for the game and theres an awesome community, I'll even answer any questions if you reach out.

At this very moment, the game is still being patched, so my experience is not entirely valid and might be biased.
So far I like the game. It is the type, that lets you suffer bitter defeat several times before you can even start to move on.
You might try your best strategy of avoiding enemies, dodging their ranged attacks and run away from their bombs, they will still eventually get you.
You die.
You have to start over.
Your reward are black diamonds. Normally you get only a handful of them, if you are lucky dozen of few dozens. Just to unlock you skill tree, you need to spend 2000 (for a skill, that let's you harm roots, type of OP enemies, that are vital by rewarding you with special ingredients upon death)
The skill tree does not seem very charming, with like 15 skills and only 3~5 upgrades per skill, that each gives very small boost to your hero. Strikes you as insignificant, compared to how horribly you are slaughtered in the battlefield.
But the game seems to have some kind of invisible boost script - each time you start over, you somehow do better (without any new skills bought). This progress is not extremely obvious, but I realized that not having much better strategy or set of active skills, I can fight longer and kill much more enemies.
As you will keep progressing, you can unlock new maps, each with new enemies and new rewards, which will subsequently reward you with new classes (you start with Ranger, then you can get Warrior, Mage, Assassin)
Don't expect to get quickly to them, tho.
The main punch line is in the selection of in-game active skills, and how you combine them. Some are more efficient than others, but the set of skills you can choose from every level is randomized. So you are destined to always build new strategy. As soon you select new skill(s), it will unlock new set of sub-skills, specific to your actual selection. So you can eventually upgrade seemingly weak / useless skills into an literal Armageddon, that will evaporate your enemies in seconds.
Active skills have cooldowns, and you might by mistake combine them in a wrong order, so some of them won't be triggered at all during your complete fight.
If you manage to defeat the final boss, eventually, you can click "start again'', which will reset your skills, but make your enemies a LOT stronger. Great challenge!
My old gaming rig is not really handling this Unreal Engine 4, when my hero is creating bullet hell and enemies die in a eventful & colorful way (graphically exhausting), but I can downgrade video settings a bit, and it is still playable, despite I like high-res video settings.
This is the type of crazy hack'n'slash, that Diablo first introduced, and what is lacking from story perspective, is supplemented with rabid crazy ferocious battle... I heed this game as pure fun.

A waste of time. Game looks amazing in video. but those are taken from End game stuff. game is a Booring sad BIG grindfest. need upgrades? get ready to do 20-30 runs to unlock basic ones that do next to nothing for you small % then grind 10-20 map runs again. mobs literally spawn on you and dmg you (later in round they insta-kill you without a chance for you to do anything, cause they dmg you at same time as spawning on you). took me 4h just to unlock 1 lvl of BASIC upgrade for movement speed.
Basically it's Base unit grind grind grind grind without a chance to properly upgrade anything. The worst shoot-em-up/ bullethell game i've played so far.
