The season Pass of borderlands 2 was released BEFORE the GOTY version. So obviously NOW you get better choices and deals. In fact I would recommend to buy the Pandora's box collection that Includes EVERYTHING every borderlands games, add-ons (weapon/skin/characters/levels/items), DLC's, but VR. I hope this helps!

It's genuinely broken. Consoles have the option to manage DLC's through the game when you buy the season pass. In steam you can only add a blue tick in the DLC menu and that's it. You get the notification in the game that "new free downloadable content is available for you" after you buy the pass, however, once you check the DL section in the game then it shows you that yes they are available but you can't download them like you can on consoles. If you click on "more details" then it sends you directly to steam store for that particular DLC. So in the end, you will not get ANYTHING if you buy this currently, steam/GB need to fix this. I wrote to GearBox support and told them I've done everything to fix it from my end: * I've finished the base game in full (including UVHM first mission) * Checked if DLC is enabled in Steam * Cleared cache * Reinstalled the game * Added the DLC's (that I own through Pandora's Box) individually * Verified game files So they sent me the instructions on how to reinstall, check steam DLC's and clear cache. The final part is the funniest: "Finally, if the issue persists, please be aware that we do not have the ability to make changes to your game, nor can we activate or provide DLC since we are not a retailer. In this case, we suggest you contact the retailer that sold it to you for further assistance." Okay, I checked Steam Support. This is what the notification from Steam Support states: "Unfortunately, Borderlands 2 Season Pass does not utilize Steam to manage its items. You will need to contact their Support Team for any questions about your items in that game." ?????????????????????? At it's current state it's a genuine ripoff. Only good thing is that through Pandora's Box you got other BL games.
