Dizzy Rogue is a neat rougelike that is fun but sometimes a bit frustrating. It's a very what you see is what you get kind of game. There's some new characters to unlock but the main gameplay doesn't change a ton with them. It is pretty rewarding to master though even as I think I got a great handle on it, sometimes it feels a bit cheap. I think the main issue is that you can often get stuck in a loop of clanking with and enemy that makes you get hit a ton just from one enemy. That and the main gimmick often means sometimes your attack just won't be lined up and you have to hope you can avoid being hit until you can. I think it's really fun though probably won't have you playing it for an extremely long time.

This game is great. I love it actually. I want to leave a negative review because the balance of some of the characters and weapons are not great . bunnies dash is pitifully weak and has a long recharge. The monkeys stab does basically nothing and is never useful, and the flail weapon leads to unavoidable damage. Only being able to use 2/4 characters and weapons is just. Blah. Really hope this gets changed as I love this game.

Mechanics are easy to learn but hard to master. Once you get into the rhythm of it, the game gets really fun. The visuals are easy on the eyes and just down right adorable. Carrot is my waifu.

Played the hell out of the demo and was waiting for this to release. Fun and annoying all at the same time! Currently 42 is my highest combo

I don't know, it's such a simple game. While colorful, I expect a bit more - this is at the level of free games that showcase a developer's potential rather something that I would spend time playing.

This game is very charming and I like it but it does have its flaws like any other game, some easy improvements would be to move the combo counter closer to a low corner of the screen and increase the size of the number, also removing the text "counter" to clean up the UI would be really good, when the combo number goes up it should become a different color so the player knows without looking directly at it that it is at a high number. Rocks decreasing combo meter is not intuitive since hitting things feels good in this game, it is also REALLY not fun and there is no reason to have it in the game since you don't have to "balance" a PvE game like you do a PvP game. making things like the big worms or other harmless enemies give combo would be SUPER fun for the player since it would allow a bunch of item procs and it is very fun to see a big number on the combo counter.

A great little game, feels super good to play and satisfying once you get the hang of it, and the power ups are creative and fun. The amount of content you get for the price is really good. I feel like I got much more than my money's worth. Awesome music and visuals too!

Game's main issue is extremely poor difficulty balancing between areas. Worlds 1-3 have effectively no difficulty compared to world 4, making playing the game feel like a waste of time every attempt until you get to world 4, which is the only actual part of the run.

Hilarious and fun. Engaging without feeling unfair. I can see myself putting a lot of hours into this. Looking forward to what the dev has coming.

Quick Score: 5/5 Notes: Only played it for about 90 minutes, but from what I have played so far the game is great. -Soundtrack is a banger. -Runs are short and sweet, difficulty hits a pretty good middle-ground and starts off action packed right away. -Achievements offer additional challenge runs. -Good amount of variety between zones/items/characters. Would compare it something like Downwell in terms of content and overall structure. It's pretty rare that I don't have at least minor complaints for a game, but as of yet I have none. For under 5$ this game is an absolute must buy/play.
