I get why those games tend to get rather mixed reviews. But personally I think that that is quite unfair. Those games are very open about what they are, extremely standard but competent Turn based games. They don't charge overly much and are honest about it and they deliver what they promise. Now that that is out of the way my complaints. The game wants you to grind too much for my taste. I have no problems with getting through the game in 18 hours, that is a good enough time. Especially because the game has two routes and I only played one. And it splits like 1/3 of the way through. Nor did I play the Ex battlefields. The party limit, for a large part of the game you have 7 party members... but can only deploy 6. Then you later gain more and can... still only deploy 6, except for one random mission where you get 7 for some reason. That is simply to few members. And lastly puzzle pieces. Now, locking cool equipment behind them is fair enough but it's really annoying that half the last stage jobs are locked behind them as well. Those are usually the coolest classes and I got to have I think 3 of them in my playthrough.

An incredibly basic mashup of Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy tactics game mechanics. Very amateurishly done. The "localization" if it can be called such, is basically a machine translation riddled with typos. It'd be more infuriating if I didn't get the distinct impression the underlying Japanese source material is just as slapdash. That said, there is definite improvement in production quality across the franchise, where the latest games are almost passable, with a quality level similar to iOS/Android games of this type.
