Interesting game. Played 7 hours srtaight. But then it became very repetitive. And i'm feeling that i can't make a perfect setup because of limited available gameplay time in current state (two systems).
Will wait for release. Hope it will become a masterpiece.

Breachway is a strong, polished concept despite its Early Access tag. A mix of deck-building and ship management makes for a fun roguelite.
The Good:
+Easy to learn card mechanics with a lot depth once you get into it.
+Nice, clean artstyle where the ships change with newly installed modules.
+Several starting perks and ships alter your playstyle.
+Mini-quests and open routes lead to lots of freedom between runs.
The Bad:
-It's currently difficult to get new crew members, as they cannot be bought.
-QoL, crew xp, run stats, etc. is of course in development.
-It's currently fairly difficult to tell when a new module is outright better if it doesn't have the MK. tag.
-Currently no evasive maneuvers or module that allows for stances or types of flying. You're just banging away at hulls and shields.
Despite it's Early Access status and currently two bosses, I highly recommend Breachway. It's got at least a decent 10 hours of gameplay, so far, and an easy autosave system that makes it easy to pick up and put down as a parent.

FTL meets Slay the spire, IMO not currently worth the $20 price tag as it is too short, took only 2 runs to beat the final boss. BUT it is an early access game so i hope they expand upon what is here, looking forward to playing the complete game in another 5 years or so when it comes out of early access!

I want to like this game, and I hope it gets better, but at this stage I cannot recommend this game to casual players. As an FTL, Shortest Trip to Earth, and Crying Sun vet I find the tutorial absolutely terrible at preparing players for the gameplay loop. I've found myself dying over and over again at the starting zone and, since I know the game style, this doesn't bode well for true noobs. Being forced to waste time fighting the same starting blockade drone endlessly before progressing only a little bit before dying isn't helping.
The graphics, music and sound are good so there will be fans but the difficulty curve is far too high for casuals. I have no patience for death loops where I die endlessly to slowly learn the game mecahnics. Avoid until the designers learn to respect players time more.

Good casual space-opera deck-building. Nothing revolutionary, just solid repeatable gameplay.

I wouldn't recommend picking up right now unless you really want to support the game. I think this game has potential. Its fun, frustrating, and thought provoking . Theres just one problem that I have with the game. Its the lack of progression. Theres nothing that carrys over from run to run. So it's just a clean restart after you lose. You unlock new ships but imo, they're not better just a different way to play which is fine. I think there should be a system in place that makes each run matter win or lose. Idk could be as simple as a unlocking pool of cards or maybe unlocking mods.

Game is awesome, but a little mobile-ish. Devs seem to be actively updating it, but it is still VERY far away from feeling complete. Hopefully it gets to there in a year or two, i don't think it can be finished faster.

Solid new take on a deck builder game. Cards have variable cooldowns and are tied to epuipment that you can constantly change out on your ship. They still have a lot of work to do to fully flesh out the game but the devs so far have been very hands on about responding to the community while still progressing on their roadmap for the full vision of this game. I'm excited to see where this game goes

The goods:
5 ships that support 5 different playstyles. You build your deck via ship modules. Gameplay is fun and addicting with good replayability. One game lasts about an hour and your goal is to defeat both bosses in two clusters. It is a bit difficult if your not using guides and trying to figure out bults that work, but thats the fun of it.
The bads:
Too few clusters (maps) and bosses though. Hope they add more soon.
Verdict:
Pumped 30 hours into it and still i want to play more. Worth the buy especially if its on sale. I bought mine for -30%.
