Excellent software. Clear instructions, works well and as expected. Makes my OCD happy. 10/10

God it's awful. This so-called "app" can't do the only thing it's supposed to properly. Everytime I switch desktops, the layout gets corrupted. And no, I'm not content with the workarounds the "developer" suggests us to do in order for program to run.

I have been searching for this for years! Finally a REAL virtual desktop application for Windows 10/11 designed to let you pick and choose which icons you want on which desktop. This seems to piggyback on the native virtual desktop that comes with the OS, utilizing that to swap desktops, and then this application comes in to handle the icons. There are minor bugs, such as one or two icons not loading up in the correct place sometimes, however 95% of my icons load up in their correct place when swapping to a different desktop (which I have of course organized with its own set of desktop icons). I also haven't had any issues with this integrating with Wallpaper Engine. It is worth noting that your Desktop will get renamed in the file explorer (this is by design), so instead of navigating to 'Desktop', depending on which virtual desktop you are on, you would instead navigate to 'Virtual Desktop 1' or 'Virtual Desktop 2' for example, but in my opinion that trade-off is negligible and it hasn't broken anything on my computer. Also, you will need to remove any icons that you don't want appearing on every virtual desktop from your Public Desktop, but that has been no issue either. Given that this was released only a couple months ago, I'm pretty satisfied. I'd give it a 4.5/5 taking into account the minor bugs. This is definitely something I would put money into to support.

I wish I knew it was going to reorganize my desktop icons around and that I can't restore them back. Now I can't make any sense of my desktop and have to try to remember the way I had them before. It's made other changes that after removing the app I have no idea if it's going to be a problem on my system later. This app needs a restore button when you don't want the virtual desktops anymore so you can make everything normal again. What if the renaming messes with some apps someone has to work with?
