In terms of modding this game is decent. It has additional features that attempts to improve the game when in reality a good amount aren't necessary. If you are looking for a simple war game this can help fulfill that but its not designed to be as in depth as SRU. That game has less features and cant make nearly as many regions but its 10x more playable due to speed. Until this game is fixed properly (Which seems unlikely), I doubt this game will continue in the near future despite bug fixes.

Oh, what a disaster.
The AI hasn't been improved enough to make the game entertaining - either for viewer or player, it still just runs at you and bashes its head against the wall until it's depleted all of its reserves and is open to the taking.
The Multiplayer is plagued with desyncs, practically making it unplayable, without restarting the game every thirty seconds.
There's a deluge of bugs that plague almost every aspect of the game - one of the most frustrating I've encountered being, if you annex one of your colonies, and then down the line an enemy occupies that territory - if you then liberate that territory - your colony starts existing again, for seemingly no reason.
I wish I could say the game was a noteworthy improvement, but it simply isn't. It's embarrassing is what it is - paying £24.99 for what is essentially a worse version of Supreme Ruler: Ultimate's modern setting, then charging customers £8.50 to regain access to DLCs that they already have and calling it a "Remaster" (despite no REAL changes) is just a joke. I definitely won't be buying anymore of Battlegoat's titles in the future, before first seeing some real improvement.
The 'improvements' that are there in this title, are nice to have - I do enjoy that we can have more nations on the map at a time, and some of the naval escort improvements and pathing updates. But beyond that, it's not worth your time. Stick to the older titles, or better yet - invest in some of the Paradox titles instead.
