I played the demo and loved it so I bought the game and love it even more! The game is a relaxing city builder with multiple difficulty levels. It is set in a post apocalyptic world but it has the most unique reason for the disaster I have ever seen.
Highly recommended!

Its not perfect. I wish some things were a little different. for example:
I wish there were some harder challenges for the trophies.
other than that its a fun game.

This game is a disaster. It is so bad that it is actually hard for me to believe it exists.
There are worse games, sure (much worse games), but the ways in which this game is bad are truly astonishing.
First, whatever form of text-to-speech they are using for the voice needs to just...not exist. I have never heard such an awful text-to-speech program in my life. I didn't even know something like this existed before playing this game. You can turn it off to instantly improve the game, but then all you're left with is a shallow version of Frostpunk without fixed events or scenarios. It's just Frostpunk on endless with less to do and less thought put into how the mechanics interact with each other. It's just mind-numbing.
I expected/hoped for a lower-quality version of Frostpunk that may have had an original idea or two. The base quality of the game is so bad, though, that it's difficult to put up with for even a short period of time, let alone an endless grind surviving for the longest achievements—the closest thing you could do to "beating" the game. On top of that, there's almost no actual divergence from Frostpunk, and the few things that are genuinely different don't feel good at all.
I'm authentically baffled how this game even managed to stay above 70% positive reviews.

An interesting take on a post apocalyptic city builder but it leaves much to be desired. Infinite resources are easy to come by, only limited by your workforce despite the game discouraging you from using unsustainable resources like coal. There's little in the way of endgame progression or goals. And the game seems buggy and all of the human voices seem to be done with low quality AI or TTS. Its not the worst but there's far better examples of its genre.
