Dungeon Defenders: Etherian Festival of Love DLC

The boss is kind of cool, but I honestly just like having the pets. The skins are a grind and it took a while commit to getting them. Honestly, I got it in the mega-pack on sale, so I don't really know. I'll hit it with a thumbs up because the goblin pet is nice.

Creepy weirdos try to orchestrate some hanky panky and are forcing others to help and watch them.

I honestly just wanted the Queen of Hearts skin, but I found out too late that I have to do a challenge which I find very confusing and irritating. At least I got this on a sale. Problems I had: 1. You can barely do this alone, and I often find it hard at the time to find anyone to help me with the challenge. It does suggest you do this with at least 2 people, but again, finding help is a bit difficult rn. None of my friends play the game, or will get this DLC so, what if someone has to do this alone? And on Hard Mode no less for what I wanted! Queen of Hearts skin, unlocked playing the challenge on Hard mode! Thaaanks. 2. The instructions are kinda unclear? Just says to bring boy and girl monsters together, matchmaker basically, while also defending TWO crystals. How do you bring them together? Also think you can just straight-up kill them! So how do I safely bring these two together without 1, dying by monsters, and 2, risking killing them! I dunno! I died the first round over and over for a few hours! 3. I find the look of the map extremely confusing. Not only do I have to figure out how to play this, I also have my eyes being mega confused at where the ground stops and starts. The cloud stuff is nice but, didn't have to be that see through. Also, is path ways that are hard to see, looking simply like walls of cloud at one angle, where I had to find out the hard way that they exists! 4. I'm just irritated that I couldn't just get the skins like the Saint Patrick's Day skin pack. You know, not having to do this challenge for it! So, don't get this if you don't have someone to help you, are also confused by the instructions, can't deal with the weird map look, and/or only want the skin and not the challenge you HAVE to do to get them.

I just wanted the costumes, to get them you have to beat the challenge and it is a joke. Nothing fun about dark elves and bomb guys attacking you every 2 seconds your trying to pair up mobs. I found this expansion very irritating.

Trash DLC. I thought buying this would unlock the mission as it says in game "buy this DLC to unlock costumes" a lie. you must do a challenge to unlock content you paid for. and its just s skin. if I could I would have refunded this garbage

Okay, so I brought this (and other seasonal) DLC looking forward to the tavern decorations but they do not apply, they were only used at the time of the season as a temporary patch and later removed. So you never actually get the tavern decorations if you buy the DLC at a later date. Very disappointing. I did read the devs say they were going to make the tavern decorations available in their last ever run of updates in 2014 but clearly that didn't happen.

If you got this DLC in the Game & All DLCs bundle, then don't worry, because it's a fun enough map to play for how much you technically spent on it, as a single map. However, unless you're reading this during the 90 percent sale that Dungeon Defenders often has, Etherian Festival of Love is not worth paying $1.99 for, based on what it gives you.

All this for some squire pants.. this is the absolute worst "challenge" of them all, so much spam, so much wasted time, if this wasn't in the bundle id stay FAR FAR away from this trash dlc. the base game is so good and the other challenges are great how did they screw up this bad.
