I played it for nostalgia but putting that aside it's still a great RPG

ok this was awesome but it would be cool if there was a second or even third one. shame that absolutely never ever happened huh

Always wanted to play this game. Without nostalgia glasses on the game aged a lot. Especially the menu parts are fully console made which makes it bad to navigate menus. Combat works well, game is not hard. It has a lot of ideas beside classic questing which makes it a sandbox to try out a lot and "live" in the world of Fable. A pleasant experience and I am glad I caught up on this classic.

classic. gotta love it. I hope when they re make this game someday that it has much of the same quests but build the hell out of the land. I also hope they favor this more hit and block style of fighting rather than the "power up/ over power" ever sword stroke sort of game play.

Lots of fun. Great skill-based fighting makes it always a challenge. Interwoven humor whilst having serious undertones. A fantastic immersion game.

Fable is a nice RPG although it has aged a little bit it is still worth playing today to experience the story. It has a few shortcomings but it shouldn't bother you much as it is a product of it's time but once again it is a solid RPG that should at least be experienced.

THE best fable game, where it all started and where it went downhill soon after. my dad bought this game for me when i was 14 and our computer couldn't handle playing it in 720p so i played it at 680x480. good memories. nostalgia aside even though this game is very linear, there are a lot of secrets and optional things you can do, together with the unique experience it provides with seeing your character grow from being a child to an old man. it's something few games have done to this day. another nice feature is seeing visible scars from the battles you went through fill your skin over time. A fantastical fantasy game with a strong focus on choice which allows you to become good or evil. The best part is how the world reacts to your choices and results. The gameplay is very simple but fun nonetheless with a added system liek the augmentation system that allows you to alter your weapons magical properties.

This was one of the first games I played. Forever a favourite. The story, places and humour was top tier.
