This is a moderately-good game. As a WIzardry-like, it includes a lot of the frustrations and hardships of the genre, but makes them less annoying. Visually, it's pleasant and has a nice style to its monsters. Gameplay itself is reasonable, with good character advancement, but overall it's just less fun than it could be. I don't regret purchasing or playing this game, but it has room for improvement.
Still, 10x better than the Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord remake.
