Continuing and expanding the history of the first game, Dark Old Sun II Unspace drags you around challenging levels with enemies with several shotting mechanics and unique designs, besides the level modifiers that brings you an extra difficult.
All that besides the history with interesting characters, that will make want to play more to discover how the history unfolds.
Play this game on the hard difficulties is not for the faint of hearts, because it will require all your skills to avoid being shoot while exploding all enemies with your weapons that you grind along the gameplay based on the roguelike mechanics.
So, if you like shoot’em up, you should definitely try this game, but if read till now and believe that is to hard for you, don’t worry you can turn on some helps like auto-aim and others (or just set it on easy lol), but don’t let to try it!

This game is a nice mix of shmup and roguelite, has a slow start and lets players get cozy with the systems before jumping with them on the "time to git gud" part.
The music is nice to listen to and has cool ingame player that lets you change what you are listening to on the fly.
Gameplay is easy to understand, the displays use the HUD smartly and the game itself runs smooth even on low end PCs. Story is a plus and even has a "battle mode" if you dont feel like reading, where you just jump into combat.
Enemy variation is nice and mecanics are simple enough to execute fast, but not easy enough to get boring.
So far having a good time playing it, really recomend checking it out.

significantly better then the first one in almost every way, and the last area went hard thematically and gameplay wise, only complaint is that it can get reptitive grinding some large areas like the floor 3 of each zone. a actual true hidden gem imo.
