Рандомные технические ошибки на ровном месте... исправлять которые уже некому)) UPD: Возможно, дело в солнышках из РКН. Коли так, прошу прощения, зря быканул. Но играть по сети сейчас невозможно.

never played any Torchlight game before. Bought during summer sale, my gf has a basic laptop with Radeon Mobile gfx and 4gb RAM and she plays this perfectly fine. we enjoy playing this together. Def worth the money, probably still if its at full price.

I bought this for a friend in 2025 on the summer sale. He won't play it, but I have been really enjoying my vanilla single-player run with a handful of QoL mods from the workshop. I think the average zoomer might have a hard time getting into it, but if they can get past the fact that the game is older than they are, they might really like it. Buy this one on a sale and try it out if you like Diablo and PoE and Grim Dawn.

Very similar elements to diablo, but a little less complex. Even though the game came out more than 10 years ago its still fantastic!

Torchlight II is a masterclass in action role-playing design, delivering a thrilling blend of fast-paced combat, rewarding loot progression, and colorful visual style. Developed by Runic Games, it serves as a refined follow-up to the original Torchlight, taking everything that worked in the first game and expanding it with a larger world, four distinct character classes, online co-op, and significantly more depth. It’s a game that wears its inspirations proudly—most notably Diablo II—but carves out its own identity with charm, accessibility, and replayability. At its core, Torchlight II excels in the classic ARPG loop: slay enemies, collect gear, upgrade skills, and repeat. The four classes—Engineer, Outlander, Berserker, and Embermage—offer diverse playstyles, each with multiple skill trees that cater to different builds. Whether you prefer summoning mechanical allies, raining magical destruction from afar, or unleashing melee fury, each class feels distinct and satisfying to master. The combat is fluid and responsive, with visual feedback and explosive effects that make even routine encounters feel impactful and fun. One of the standout features of Torchlight II is its world design. Unlike the dungeon-centric approach of its predecessor, the sequel introduces large, open areas that give the game a more expansive feel. Environments range from arid deserts and dense jungles to snowy wastelands and ancient ruins, each teeming with monsters, hidden quests, and side dungeons. The variety in enemy types and map layouts ensures the experience remains fresh throughout the campaign. These zones are procedurally generated in layout, ensuring that no two runs feel identical, which greatly enhances replayability. Loot is another pillar of the Torchlight II experience, and it doesn’t disappoint. Weapons, armor, trinkets, and gems drop frequently, with randomized stats, unique effects, and a constant temptation to upgrade. Legendary and set items offer long-term goals, while enchanting and socketing systems add layers of customization. The joy of finding that one piece that perfectly complements your build is a consistent motivator, and inventory management becomes a satisfying mini-game in itself. Pets, which return from the first game, can assist in battle and be used to quickly sell items in town, minimizing downtime and maintaining the action. Multiplayer is a welcome and essential addition in Torchlight II, supporting online and LAN co-op for up to six players. Teaming up to tackle difficult dungeons, share loot, or experiment with synergistic builds adds a new level of depth and social fun that was sorely missing in the original. The game balances enemies and loot drops for multiple players well, keeping the challenge intact while enhancing the sense of camaraderie and progression. Visually, the game maintains a whimsical, stylized aesthetic that differentiates it from the grimmer tone of other ARPGs. The colorful environments and exaggerated character designs give the game a welcoming personality, without compromising its sense of danger or epic scope. The soundtrack by Matt Uelmen, known for his iconic work on the Diablo series, sets the perfect mood—mysterious, atmospheric, and evocative of classic dungeon crawlers. While Torchlight II achieves much, it is not without its small flaws. The story, while serviceable, lacks the narrative punch or character depth seen in some other RPGs. Dialogues and quests can sometimes feel generic, more like a vehicle to move you from one combat zone to another than a fully fleshed-out narrative experience. Additionally, while mod support is a major strength of the game on PC, the vanilla experience may eventually feel limited for players who burn through the main content quickly. In conclusion, Torchlight II is a shining example of what an action RPG can be when it focuses on fun, flexibility, and community. It blends satisfying gameplay mechanics with a robust loot system, accessible class variety, and a rich world to explore. Whether playing solo or with friends, it delivers a consistently enjoyable experience that rewards experimentation and persistence. Even years after its release, Torchlight II remains one of the most beloved and replayable entries in the ARPG genre, perfect for veterans and newcomers alike. Rating: 8/10

I have played this game since the beginning, and I have almost 2000 hours. This is a game I always come back to, after finishing short games because I love the challenges and I am now playing elite, and that makes the game so fun. I have played all the characters, including the ones with Synergies, and my favorites are the Engineer and the Ember Mage. Because of Carpel Tunnel, I usually do the Engineer, but now and then I play the mage as long as my hands are rested. I think this game would be fun to those who love a challenge. If one plays elite, it is definitely that. It's also fast paced. It's the best ARPG out there in my opinion. Please share your thoughts on here.

Of all the Diablo-likes out there (including Diablo) this is the one I keep coming back to. Modable, colorful, just fun to sink a few hours into. I couldn't tell you just exactly why I come back to this one, it's just like re-watching an old show that's aged well again and again.

The first Torchlight was so generic and boring as to seem like a template for vanilla ARPGs. This one is a big improvement over that, but it is still very, very vanilla. And boring. Gear was boring, with almost zero upgrades, and skills were boring. I played as an Engineer pet build. I was not unhappy when the final boss was beaten, and I did not engage in an NG+. Play time was probably a bit over 30 hours. The ending was so minimalistic, I have to assume that they wanted people to jump straight into their next playthrough. No thank you. Oh, and the music often felt like a direct ripoff from Diablo 1. Even if it's the same composer, can't you come up with something a bit more original for a new game? However, I will say that the game was very polished. I encountered no bugs or crashes whatsoever, which is extraordinary for a PC game. 4/10

So I know people call this game a Diablo clone, but I wouldn't be able to even speak to that as I've never played a single Diablo game for even a minute. Weird considering I've spent an insane amount of time into other Blizzard games like Warcraft II-III+FT and have spent about 5 years of actual time into World of Warcraft since it came out way back in 04. What I can tell you is that this game feels to ME, like 1 player WoW which would make sense considering that I read a lot of the guys who made this game came from that original WoW team. You pick a class and get right to work. You pick up quests, kill monsters, retrieve items, get gear and then rinse repeat. May not sound like much when I put it like that but this game I've only been playing for a few hours so far and it already feels like I've played the game for a year and 2 minutes simultaneously. I was immediately immersed in the world and before I knew it, my planned 30 minute intro playing time I set aside became 2 hours. I just couldn't put it down. I actually had to just stop it altogether at the time because it was so engrossing and addicting and I knew if I kept going I'd start ignoring work for it. Now that work has slowed down a little bit because of the summer, I plan on diving head first back into this one. Apparently the campaign is long which is huge news to me. Game play feels awesome, you get constant upgrades so you're always min/maxing your character and there are so many abilities in the tree to choose from. There is fluid combat with the ability to throw some real cool strategy in there or build your character to just tank it all like a boss. I really fucking like this game, and for the price it's out for right now (or during a Summer Steam sale) you'd be foolish to pass it up. Can't wait to pour hundreds of hours into this one given that between the different classes and builds it offers a lot of replayability.
