( ~ spoilers ~ ) I'll get the complaints & observations out the way first: * Blanche (the name) pronounced like "branch", instead of "blonk" * 50/50 on the voice acting * Kinda wish there was something more relating to the Wolpertinger. * Ngl, it IS kinda annoying to constantly hear "Angie would've wanted" & such. * I'd HEAVILY suggest having a reminder for some lines of text. If you didn't pay attention or hear what was said & now you have to make a decision based off something you don't know. Like the lodge colors, for example. * Some of the characters felt disgustingly underutilized & useless. Like Blanche, nanna, & maybe Eli. * Conny, unfortunately, starts to feel like a 1 dimensional character throughout the game. * Conny: "I don't remember her password" Also Conny in the 'prologue': * Conny always gotta hover her hands above the hips when hugging * A lot of the relationship plots felt like they got cutoff (edged), like Beaniebaby & his lesbo-moms, but I guess that's life sometimes. * Speed up time: *Spin* / Characters like to do a few twirls around themselves before going into a building & somehow using up 15-30 minutes of valuable in-game time. * Game slows to a severe & sudden halt at 1 point (when Zek is ready to leave & Conny is completely withdrawn — or this was just my playthrough-) * Gotta love how I spent HOURS replaying the intro up until day 10ish just to try & get Leigh to sunbath, all the whilst complaining about the game not having a "save this spot" option, JUST to finally realize wtf the rewind button meant — and despite even that, I got the achievement right after that (*:oD*). - - - Positive marks & observations: * Beautiful art * Beautiful music * Great character designs, the silhouettes are mostly easy to tell apart. * Ngl, it almost funny how there's like 3 or 4 families with a wide range of diversity. Lesbian moms (although 1 divorced her husband), a mixed race family, a single father (the wife died), & the typical, straight, white family, and the lonely old woman. * If my tears were cooperative I could've filled a fuckin bathtub. * I didn't think this game would actually be SAD sad, I just thought the themes were depressing n such, but .... Wtf. The very few moments where things actually started feeling personal... The "letting go" scenes with us cutting the connection.. * Zek's was most fucked up yo. The analogy was beautiful. I love it. Fuck ;-;. His was the one that finally broke me. Or when Conny admitted that she feared the day she'd forget Angie's voice. AND THE ENDING * The final paper chase letter is also fucked :,D. "As high up as possible, so it'd be easier for you to read" & the "postponing until it was too late"... Bruh D,:< * I do find it kinda interesting how we, as Angie, can influence decisions that "contradict" what the living Angie may've wanted. Zek claiming how she wouldn't like an angel as the statue, but we can influence him to make an angel. Very interesting thought. * An incredibly interesting premise & very well executed, even if it is a bit confusing until you figure it out (YOU are Ange). - - - I'm probably singing this game's praises a bit too high, but let me have my swan song dammit.

Touching, a wonderful connecting game that's right on the money with it's emotional beats and excellent music/voice acting.

Definitely would recommend to anyone who enjoys story telling games. This one is rather short but very sweet and 100% worth the price.
