This game is so fun it gets harder and harder the more you progress I would definitely recommend it for $4 dollars.

A fantastic game built around a singular, simple concept. You're a penguin. You can jump, and you can slide. With those two moves, you get your thrills by zooming through screens as you expertly avoid hazards and control your momentum.
For such a low price, this game is a steal.

I spent about a week and a half of playing it and while there were times where I shut down the game because I felt frustrated, that frustration was never due to the game itself, but rather just to take some time away from the game because I had spent too long playing. There is a total of 60 different levels (10 levels per stage for 6 stages), all of them introduce new mechanics that are really fun to get a grasp of. There are really only two mechanics that you have to worry about, a "jump" button and a "everything else" button for slides and climbs, and the tutorial is literally just like 3 practice levels, so any nuances in movements or mechanics are up to you to find out. Also the gold medals dont require you to be frame perfect and are extremely reasonable to achieve on each level, so much so that sometimes I would get a gold, and play the level again because I knew I messed up something that would've given me a better clear time, so there is a lot of replay-ability in that sense.
My only small gripes with the game is that I wish there was some boss variety, but it wasn't that big of a deal that there wasn't any AND I hate self scrolling levels, and so I was not the biggest fan of the vertical levels, especially replaying them for golds.
Overall a super fun platformer and speedrunner game, that also comes at a pretty cheap price for the amount of content, highly recommended!!

This game is really fun. The levels are difficult, but they're pretty short so you still wanna go as fast as you can. Getting a gold trophy after a tough level is so satisfying.
Sylph's platformers are so underrated. I can't wait to see what they make next

Beautifully crafted precision platformer with simple controls (only two buttons) and mechanics that combine for a truly dynamic experience (with plenty of difficulty and perfectly executed difficulty progression). It reminded me a lot of the fun I had playing through the Bloody Trapland games. HIGHLY recommend :)

Super slick stuff. (SSS Game!) It reminds me of some modern SMW Kaizo Hacks, but doing its own thing. Love this one.

Another bonkers, balls-hard (yet addictive) platformer from the mind of indie-dev madman Sylph. Thrill Penguin is a wonderful companion piece to Garlic ( Sylph's earlier platformer game) - this one is a tad slower, with more emphasis on sliding around on the cute-yet-badass penguin's lil' belly. Definetly pick this ( and Garlic ) up if you like games like Celeste and Super Meat Boy.

Phenomenal retro-inspired platformer. Controls gotta be well done for difficult platformers-Thrill Penguin nails 'em. Very responsive, tight controls. Level design is really consistent, creative, & well done. If you're a fan of SMW hacks/Kaizo Mario-you'll love this game. Like other reviewers have mentioned, Sylph's platformers are extremely underrated....or have yet to be discovered & appreciated.
In short-you like tough platformers? Nice. Buy this game :)

Really enjoying this. It's got great controls and neat speedrunning tech. The gold medals on each level are a fun challenge to seek out, but they're nothing too insane so you don't get bogged down trying one level over and over again.
