Stacklands Reviews
Stacklands is a village builder where you stack cards to collect food, build structures, and fight creatures. ???? For example, dragging a Villager card on top of a Berry Bush card will spawn Berry cards which the villagers can eat to survive. ???? Play your cards right and expand your village!

After completing the game to 100% I wanted to give my review on it. Espacially the beginning of the game and it's end were very fun but I couldn't say the same about the middle of it, espacially food farming and hendeling animals wasn't very fun since you can't really automate it. All in all I have enjoied this game in it's entierty but I havn't played any of the dlc yet.

Looks like a cute card game, plays like cardboard Factorio.
Deceptively simple but insanely deep. With all the DLCs, it turns into a proper little automation puzzle box. Recent updates made automation way better, though I still dream of fully self-sustaining villages.
Tiny game, massive brain itch. 10/10.

I love the simplicity to this game while it's still bringing a lot of discovery and strategy.
Biggest drawbacks are too little automation on food tasks before greenhouse and a lot of cleanup when you get a lot of card generation. It's definitely more kind towards a minimalistic research focused playstyle than a rapid expansion min maxing playstyle. Overall I enjoyed it and it was worth the money for all the time I put into it :)

Bruh, it takes like 5 minutes for the game to click, then it takes 2 hours for you to immerse yourself, then you find yourself completing everything because it is damn fun.
Like, I never expected this to be such a "hidden gem" but it is.

Rating: 8.5/ 10
Positives:
- Unique gameplay and approach
- Cute drawings
Negatives:
- Long progression if you don't strategize well
- Can get overwhelming but again thats a player to player thing
Notes:
Pretty fund card strategy game. Personally this is the first time I've played a game of this type and even got the DLC for it. I found it pretty enjoyable and even relaxing at times. The grind can get real though and the overwhelming amount of cards on your board can begin piling up but personally I was okay with it. So far I've played for about 5 hours consecutively/ in multiple sessions and made it past the first stage in about 3 hours. But that might also just be because I enjoy seeing my colony working well before I have to start all over again lol
