pretty fun, kinda triggering though, when I get caught off guard, love the challenge though!

A surprisingly fun game. It looked weird to me since everything was just cards but it's surprisingly fun and engaging. 100% base game achievements @ 8 hours. Still some card unlocks to get.

To many to manage and the crafting system is good but hard if the game was coop so that two players can manage it was great but fo me a single player is to much overall very good game

Deckbuilding, City Building and Merge gameplay in one addictive game.

fun and addictive but keep in mind there are bottle necks you will have to deal with as well as moments you might feel like theres a bit of mental burn out

I've finally found a roguelite card game that is not for me. The discovery aspect is initially appealing, but the novelty quickly fades once you establish a routine. Since all the unlocks are eventually revealed through "idea" cards, even the discovery aspect feels rote. You collect and build not for any greater goal other than checking off the list of "quests," which are often as simple as "build X item." The game feels like an extended tutorial whose ultimate challenge is the tedium of managing a messy game board.

I'm a big fan of resource management games, but this one really caught my attention because of the deck system built in. Love that I can refine the process as I make progress in the game. Super fun and i haven't even hit the DLC yet

The game's simplicity is great and it's quite fun to discover all the booster packs and recipes. However, it is also quite addictive in that while not actually being that much fun once you progress a little further and there are 150+ cards on the table, it becomes a bit of a chore to manage it all.

i would recommend this game. I actually really like cozy games, and this was cozy enough for me with longer days and disabling combat. Once I played through initially, just on the mainland, then i decided to start a new file with combat enabled. It was simple and much more fun. I will be putting in more hours soon for the DLC content.

I like that Stacklands is a game I can play at my own pace and that it doesn't have DLC locked or Cardpedia Completion achievements. It's satisfying to progress through quests and to start future runs with new insights. I much prefer the Mainland to the Island, though. The introduction of food spoilage made it less relaxing to play, but at least it's contained to one zone. Overall, Stacklands was a nice experience. I'll consider the DLC in the future.
