Innovative new format, makes it interesting. I wish it was less lineal. overall a solid 7.5 I would suggest to only buy it when highly discounted like 10-15 $

Game is brutal cyberpunk noir with a classic detective story playing first fiddle. Advanced technology balanced by a dying Earth and fading human feelings. The transfer of consciousness allowing immortality to theoretically everyone, while in reality it was a gift to a select caste and an ever deteriorating, eternal grind for everyone else. ✅

Graphics is top-notch and game itself is well optimized.
Original stylistics. Futuristic tech mixed with art-deco/bauhaus design. Visible everywhere – even in achievements.
Great soundtrack. Mostly based on classic films of the silver age and films from that period considered classics of the detective genre.
Great story. Meets all the points of a classic murder-mystery. The identity of the murderer remains a mystery until the very end. It also manages to include some pretty good and unexpected twists.
Great world design. Developers version of the future is a special kind of nightmare and its well portrayed through all details and settings. I know that cyberpunk setting is a dystopia, but here it has escalated to a whole new level.
Despite game being mostly linear walking simulator, there are several important choices to be made.
Variety of tools given to our disposal – UV light, x-ray scanner and time manipulator. The mechanics of time manipulation allow us to reconstruct the crime scene by using the memories of the deceased nearby. An innovative tool in its own right.
Proper detective evidence board. Allowing us to glue clues and formulate hypothesis.
Hidden dialogue options dependent on observations, choices made and interactions taken in game.
😐 Not all items have an external commentary – but I’m not sure if it was a developers choice or rather a bug. ❌

The ending seems rushed and forced. There should have been more investigation through the gradually deteriorating situation in the city before the “grand finale.” For me, it was disappointing.
If the interaction with objects coincides with a more important dialogue, the dialogue comes first. Ok, logical, but why is the interaction with objects no longer available or queued after the dialogue?
Unskippable cutscenes.
You can’t load to a specific chapter, if you missed a specific achievement.
You can’t formulate wrong hypothesis or fail an investigation.
Discrepancies between subtitles and spoken text.
Game is a walking simulator. Even with extra dialogue options, achievements; it is unlikely that it will take you more than 10-12 hours.
In my opinion it is a little bit overpriced, especially if you take into an account it's length.
Was having a phenomenal time until I came across some art in the game that was very very obviously created with Generative AI or Gen AI which utilizes stolen art to create slop. I very much wanted to enjoy this beautiful game, but knowing that even 1% of it was created using stolen art work means I cannot enjoy it at all. I will be getting a refund and will instead support a team that doesn't use stolen art.

A mostly linear detective story in a cyberpunk film-noir setting. Completing the story took about 6 hours. Replaying for the final achievements and second ending took about 3 hours, skipping as much as possible. + Amazing visuals and sound design. + Pretty great world design, with some deep questions. + Large 'areas' to explore. + The good ending is pretty sweet and ties things up reasonably nicely. - I wish they'd left out the smoking. It's not cool, edgy or relevant anymore. - Choices feel incredibly linear, all you do is click and follow the instructions. - You can easily lock yourself out accidentally by investigating something that moves the story forward. - Kind of mediocre detective story, none of your choices matter (except for maybe 2) and only result in slightly different voice lines. - The world is much deeper than the characters. - You CANNOT skip cutscenes (only some conversation lines) AND you cannot load/skip to any chapters. To get the other ending, you have to replay the whole game. At a discount it's a decent deal but I'm not entirely sure. It was a cool experience, but very short. And the lack of chapter selection or skipping is just sinful!

if you expect this game to be a deduction game, don't play it. It is basically a walking simulator and the investigation happens in a linear way where you mostly just listen to the protagonist's thoughts. The story is appealling but the end falls short of expectations, too. Play time is less than 6 hours, so only just get it in sale anyway. On the bright side: the setting is crafted very well and the aesthetics are spot on!

I would have loved to recommend this game. It has a nice atmosphere, graphics are nice and the concept is interesting.. But it just falls short for me. At first it dragged me in and was good! The acting was fine I can understand where the story throws you in mid part of the main character's life but the more the story goes on it just feels rushed and the more rushed it felt it just felt like they wanted to get the story done and over with and they just keep throwing more story at you so fast that I just could not keep up and by the end was just left confused, unsatisfied and annoyed. If this game was more fleshed out and longer by a couple more hours this would have been much more enjoyable. It also felt more like a story walk through than a game like It's an intractable movie.. more gameplay would have been nice tbh

Saw this game randomly one day, thought it would be an amazing Noir detective game. Cool artstyle and conccept I guess, but the gameplay's p much a snoozefest, and for a game that lets you have different endings there is absolutely nothing like a timeline or checkpoint system in place. I ain't replaying this slog of a game for the endings, watching it on YT. Only got this half off on sale, full price is a ripoff honestly

I was really having a blast with this game's setting and enjoying the story for what it is. Everything was going so well until I hit the ending. There are some things that make no sense to me in this aspect. The choices and how they affect the story are poorly written and executed in my opinion. The choices leading to the good/true and bad ending being the biggest offender of this. The game rewards you for making choices that make no sense and are completely illogical which I find extremely frustrating(again, the choice were you choose between those two men at the end before the endings are responsible for this)Its such a shame because in a game like this the choices should be done well if you are going to make a choice based system, not to mention the fact that there is not even a replay or chapter select function for player convenience and accessibility. Which is a decision that seems absolutely stupid to me. Really, its such a shame because I genuinely liked the whole atmosphere and setting that the game had, the story it was trying to tell in the first half also pulled me in. But the whole gameplay system just really ruins it for me unfortunately. Such a shame.

Amazing game. A proper film noir detective story set in a dystopian cyberpunk world. Graphically it can be considered a showcase of Unreal Engine 5. Music is great, very atmospheric. When it comes to the gameplay it's pretty much walking simulator and a very light detective investigation. You are pretty much always on rails and can't divert from the track planned by the developers. Playing it feels like watching an old school movie.
