This is a very fun game. I like the music, style, and gameplay of this. Most of the puzzles/resources you need to put together are straightforward and don't require too much time to figure out. It feels more like a game of exploration more than a thriller. It's about as chill as you can get for the entire premise of the game. I really enjoyed playing, and having finished, I would play it a few times more; sometimes for achievements, but also because it was just really enjoyable.
I read some reviews where the people were not impressed with the storyline/plot/ending, but I don't think it was that awful. It probably falls under "cliche" but considering when this takes place, that makes it feel like it fits in more with the time period. Definitely a little confused about how so many people in such a small town are calling you, but that aside I think that the rest of the game was pretty solid. I think the price is good for this game, and if it's ever on sale, get it!
I don't really have more downsides about the game other than the caller issue; I didn't encounter any bugs or issues playing, and Killer Frequency is just a solid, short game that you can play again and again just to see what outcomes you get the next time.

I have to be so honest, I bought this game without looking much into it and I have to say I was surprised. At first I thought "oh this is going to be boring, i'm just sitting at a desk", I couldn't be more wrong. Not physically seeing everything made the tension even higher! Without spoilers but damn I was really freaking out. Also if you're a puzzle lover too, this was perfect! It was never too easy or too hard, felt like a was in Forest Nashs shoes the whole time! This is a really good check out and i'll be telling my friends about it :)

Really great game. I went into it not knowing or expecting much, but was glued to my seat. Really recommend if you like horror themes without being too scary, detective/mystery and puzzle vibes. 10/10

Simply put, a well written short-ish (8 hours, not rushed) game. Atmosphere and music is spot on. A unique element there with running a radio show too. Has some funny moments, and some really creepy moments. Loved it.

This is a case where I really wish there was a middle option.
There is some genuinely entertaining puzzle design in here, and the narrative as a whole was solid, but the entire package is smothered in so... so much absolutely terrible dialogue. People tell you things they just told you, people tell you things you find out seconds later by using your eyes, people hold your hand, people have agonisingly long conversations about backstory that means nothing and adds nothing, it's all just so hopelessly padded - even good information is delivered and explained in the most drawn-out way possible.
I was going to give this a tentatively positive review because the puzzles were honestly great, and they were the reason I pushed through to roll credits, but the reality is the bulk of Killer Frequency's runtime is a drawn-out slog full of painful tonal whiplash. I would be tempted to go back through to try to get a perfect run, but if there's a way to skip all that dialogue, I haven't found it.
Perhaps it's fitting, though, for a game about radio to be absolutely terrified of a little dead air.

I give this game a light recommendation. If you want an almost cozy horror game then this could be a fun time. I like the gameplay here of playing dj and taking calls from slasher victims helping them escape a masked killer. That stuff really kept me engaged and hooked on this game. On the other hand I found the ending very boring and predictable. The fact there's no jog button or toggle was insufferable. And it's so so hand hold-y. It doesn't make you puzzle really for anything all clues and items you need are served up on a platter. The whole time I was playing all I could think about was how much more I would be into this if A. this game was way more intense and actually scary (more like something Puppet Combo/Black Eyed Priest would make) and B. if it was more original and less beholden to horror movie culture. Everything is a reference to a horror movie. All the streets in the town ffs are the names of horror directors or references to horror movies. And the ending especially is such contrived nonsense with the big twist and how it ties in with the name of the station in of itself is a reference from the movie they're ripping off the most in the plot (not entirely just some key elements). Like I said I don't hate this game but I want this to be much more than it is. I'd like to see this dev team take another swing with a sequel and really take bigger swings with the next one. Bolder, scarier, and with less indulgences into the realm of references.
