I have tried to like this game, I really have. I loved UG:Civil War and i thought even though the bad reviews were pooring in id give it a try in memory of it? Maybe something was being missed?
This game does everything wrong. THERE IS SO MUCH TO MANAGE!!!! Fuck even presidents have people that do work. This game asks you to have like 4 or 5 actions per second. Even on Easy the enemies armies are incredibly stronger than yours and you have to act extremely fast and save often. None of the QoL issues were addressed from Civil War and now more QoL issues exist.
I just hate that this game had so much chance and potential and now it honestly feels like the biggest let down of gaming this year.
Im sorry to say. Save your money on this one.

Really sad to see this studio shut down but, BEWARE!!! THIS GAME IS DEAD AND WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY NEW CONTENT. While you can maybe work with what's here for maybe 10-15 hours, but try the British campaign and you'll realize what you're up against. The size of the map is staggering and will repeat the same onslaughts over and over, leaving you feeling like you're playing on insane mode and exhausted and confused, and that's just when the game opens up (i.e. 1% of the game)
You're out-manned, out-gunned, and out-dev'd. Things won't change or get better because a game that seriously has the skeleton of a sleeper great, turned out to be someone's last dream, but another's final meal ticket, promising a revolution, but the sons of liberty are sadly nowhere to be found... RIP
