The quality and care of production to this game is top notch. The devs are committed to it. The Updates include a LOT of new things. And the DLCs are clearly sideline material not required to play but buy them if you are interested. This is class production, and worth a buy if you are at all interested in this game.

Its a wonderful game, getting rid of the time system from the first game was a great idea that just made this game perfect for me

The base game is great, the dlc made it better. This is a wonderful board game styled game focusing on adjacency bonuses.

To imagine that this would be the ultimate journey of Reus from playing the first one ages ago seems almost impossible. This improves on the first game 100-fold in every way, and creates a truly fun and interesting game full of challenges. It feels like a very very good board game, and it looks genuinely beautiful.

Reus was a cute little indie puzzle game. Reus 2 took that puzzle, ditched all other aspects of the game, and perfected it. Thanks to the increased number of giants, human leaders, and tiles that you can put down, the replayability of the game is massively increased. There's always some new combination to explore. Optimizing the layout of your cities is very engaging. The soundtrack and graphics are all very adorable, making the game a chill experience. Overall, if you like puzzle games, then Reus 2 is a great game that offers both challenge and replayability.

A VERY worthy sequel; they fixed all the issues from the first game and kept all the amazing features that made me put so many hours into it. I couldn't recommend this game highly enough. It's a truly unique blend of puzzle game and god game.

As simple or complex as you want it to be, lovely to look at, easy to interact with, fun to minmax. Improves on the original Reus in every way, only complaint I have is that the UI could be a bit more slick/optimised in the menus.

This game is a wonderful streamlining of the original Reus. It is great if you love designing and planning out powerful combinations of abilities. My only issue is that the removal of the achievement system from Reus makes games sometimes feel more directionless.

Reus 2 came out very quietly and is not getting the attention it deserves. I knew it's coming so I kept waiting and bought it 1-2 days after release, the same goes for the DLC. And I have so much fun with it. Really, the game is just great.
Graphics are what I would call a sidegrade from Reus 1. tha planet looked a little bit worse at first glance, but it looks better in late game periods. Interface graphics are simplistic, it kinda hurts your eyes in the main menu, but it's perfectly fine during actual gameplay.
Music is very good. Some catchy tunes are present and it brings you to hear them regularly.
Reus 1 had some great ideas which felt underedeveloped. I found it extremely difficult to really combo different creatures, plants and stuff due to limited number of neighbouring bioticas, this is changed for muuuch better in Reus 2 as patches you put stuff on neighbour more of each other, and you can use giants' powers to create additional rows of them.
And there is no more real time limit clock ticking down. Now your clock tick down when you add stuff. This change is great.
I 100% recommend this game. It's great. I love it :D
