Played for 30 hours or so. Now can't get past the EA Sports splash screen. I was hoping an update would fix, but it's been a few months. It was fun while it lasted.

Solid Gameplay and Physics. VR is a little off in certain scenarios (particularly with weather happening and lights on), on my first gen Oculus. But, overall it's still very playable.

It's a good game when everything works. However that's about 50% of the time. Optimization is still all over the place.

This Game has the potential to be absolutely fantastic as the spiritual successor to DR2 (RIP) the physics are much improved as is the FFB feel etc etc. everything you want in a good rally sim though it is slightly simcade. The issue is in it's current state the game is a buggy mess, it crashes often and usually at the worst possible time. That is if it is even able to launch at all without an immediate crash. I have been having the same crashing issue for almost 2 months. I have reported this bug using EA forums, and asked for help there twice now with no resolution or reply from EA. I have exhausted all the supposed fixes on the forums and the "verify" function on steam. Then recently we get more paid dlc packs (thanks EA) whilst existing terminal bugs are ignored and the game remains completely unplayable.

Just tried dirt 2.0 and this, and I am keeping WRC. Swapped for the new transformer model with DLSS 4, and DLSS Q makes the game look absolutely gorgeous. Was plug and play with my moza setup as well. The FFB feels much better, the cars don't feel like I am sliding on ice.

EA WRC24 is a really good rally game Don't know why this game has so many bad reviews runs smooth looks realistic great looking visuals cars feel great to drive the rally stages are really long and nice. playing with xbox one series x controller. I also play WRC/8/9/10 and dirt rally 2.0 . would definitely recommend buying/playing ea wrc24 for £11.99 well worth it. think its become my favourite wrc game to play.

Really fun and the carrer mode keeps me engaged, but idk I feel like its time for rally games to get crazy with particles and realistic graphics and stuff. The fact that a rally game doesn't feel like i'm getting anything dirty its kinda weird.

EA is such dogshit. VR is broken and I can't even properly play this game. The anti cheat broke compatibility with Nvidia so we can't even use the new DLSS that was released. They should dissolve themselves as a company.
Great Rally, Terrible Menus
Pros: + The rally stages are solid, high quality. + The car selection is diverse, with some lesser known cars. + The car handling is SimArcade, like if Dirt 4 and Dirt Rally 2.0 had a baby. Cons: - Some content is locked behind a EA Play subscription. - The UX is a hot mess. Navigating the menus feels clunky. - Career mode, the calendar, you’ll be squinting at icons trying to figure out what’s going on. I only recommend this because the gameplay is solid and that’s what you’ll be spending hours doing.

I cant go back to dirt rally 2.0 because i find the FFB alot better and the tarmac is infinitely better but some of the choices the devs have made are just ridicules and stupid. Some objects are just complete indestructible immovable gods like roads signs, banners, some shrubs ect. you slightly clip one of these and you come to a complete stop... why? They already have the physics in the game for objects to break like mailbox's. Just have it so it beaks and does some damage to your car and not stop you dead in your tracks. It is way too easy to stall your car, I've never driven a real rally car but i feel like when you are sideways at 100% throttle in second gear on gravel the power of a rally car should be able to pickup the revs enough for you not to stall. Damage physics need to be more like Dirt rally 2.0, driving into a tree at 150kph should cause terminal damage not just give you a little boo boo that will buff out at the end of the stage. I do really enjoy this game but when most of it downfalls are something that were not a problem in Dirt rally 2.0 i think it deserves a negative review.
