Great game for my taste but need more custom option like custom Winning point, custom population cap, more unit, more heroes. otherwise this will get bored easily.

Ah, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin—a game so bafflingly mismanaged, it makes my own failed schemes look like strokes of genius! Let's delve into this disaster, shall we? Gameplay: Imagine commanding armies with all the responsiveness of a petrified forest. The controls are so clunky, you'd think they were designed by my bumbling henchmen! Units respond to orders as if they're considering a career change, and strategic depth is about as profound as a puddle on a sunny day. Visuals and Audio: The graphics are reminiscent of a time when I still had flesh on my bones—dated, uninspired, and utterly forgettable. The sound design is equally lackluster; I’ve heard more inspiring battle cries from a frightened goat. DLC Practices: Well, it's Games Workshop, it's Age of Sigmar...therefore predatory game practices are to be expected! Charging exorbitant prices for single heroes as downloadable content is a scheme so devious, even I must applaud. It's as if they peered into my dark heart and said, "Let's monetize disappointment!" Players are expected to empty their coffers for minimal additions, making this a predatory practice worthy of Skeletor's scorn. Final Verdict: It's a chaotic mess that even the forces of evil would disown. Or approve? I don't care enough. Pass and go scratch that RTS itch elsewhere. If you are an Age of Sigmar diehard fan, then by all means support this travesty. At least the 'creative' minds behind this abomination will see some scraps falling down from the corporate table. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must return to plotting successful schemes! NYEHHH!

Haven't played Realms of Ruin for a hot minute, but thought I'd drop a review just in case the Dev's are watching. You're game is a great foundation. 4 Factions is a good number to start with and I like the choices you made for them. The story was engaging, warhammer I think is a difficult setting to write character drama in but regardless the Stormcasts quests and their intercharacter relationships were enjoyable and kept me honestly hoping that everything would turn out okay for them, Immortal or not a reforging is not fun. I thought the gameplay was decent, not fantastic moment to moment but for an RTS in the modern day there is certainly worse interpretations of the formula. All that to say that I really hope that this Realms of Ruin game isn't the only one we ever get, AoS is an under represented setting which is a shame because I honestly vibe with it's style and conflicts more than I do with 40K. I see a world in which further Realms of Ruin games innovate on the foundation set out here, expand upon the factions already built, add additional factions into the game at the same standard, give each faction more unique abilities, more units to play with, make the combat slightly punchier. An AoS Dark Crusade type game would do wonders for the community and I think sell incredibly well. So you know, get to it! Oh and also, I know GW games have done this in the past, but I personally got reeeallllyy tired of switching factions mid campaign mission to mission, I begin to get the vibe on one, begin to like the characters in one, then I get pulled into a Tzeentch mission, rewire my head to how they play, without getting ever enough time to perfect any one factions gameplay. Multiple campaings played in succession I think would allow you the time to tell a really expansive and deep narrative, and would give the players the opportunity to play the factions they like, for more time. Like Warcraft 3, I was forced to play one factions after the next, but I didn't mind the switch by the end because I have played plenty of the faction, experienced all it had to offer, and I got a damn good story along with it, I was eager to see where the narrative went in the next campaign and was excited to learn a new faction. I don't know why people don't learn from what REALLY worked in the past and try to iterate on it, but for me, fitting 3 factions campaigns into one, just made me hate the annoying orc missions when they inturrupted the fun stormcast ones. Thanks and I hope to see more AoS titles from you in the future!

The negative reviews are from people who expected Starcraft 2 with Age of Sigmar units, so if you're an intelligent person you can ignore like 90% of the criticism this game gets. It plays similar to Dawn of War 2 but with more of a tabletop-ey vibe, you have command points to spend on buffs and things like that, and it has a slower pace overall. If you've played the tabletop version and/or you like RTS games, this is a pretty fun game (get it on sale IMO) It's not going to be an Esport and there is no multiplayer unless you have a friend, so if you like RTS games for the campaign and skirmish modes you're all set. It's not as snappy or well-designed as Starcraft or Age of Empires, since both of those games literally have like 20+ years of development behind them and this... does not, obviously, so just use common sense. If you're smart enough to be allowed to spend your own money you knew what this game was the moment you clicked on the store page, if you're one of the monkeys leaving negative reviews because you can't read, then you should be surgically prevented from reproducing because clearly your kind has no purpose lmao

Wow, that was uhhh... That was really bad. Its not in my nature to write a review a mere 30 minutes in a game, but I experienced what was, to my understanding, the core game play. The core game play is not good, and it appears just to be a whole lot of that. I weep for the people who bought this game at full price.

This game handles very poorly and the controls are sluggish. It has the stuff to be a good game, but it is done very poorly.

My only expectation was that the campaign experience was passably good with some nice relaxing RTS and maybe a semi-decent story line. The story line was indeed half-decent, but the game play just feels like they took skirmish mode and repeat it for every single mission after about 2 or 3 missions. That gets old really fast and is VERY uninspiring.
