Gameplay is super simple with gameplay and graphics. But honestly i like fast and hardbeat soundtrack for this game. wsad to walk, m1 and m2 to shoot. Kill other guys and reach level exit. And it's darn cheap. Like cmon 1 dollar game just try it and have fun in it. Very cool game.

This one's a lot better than UBERMOSH or BLOODSAINT because the goddamn screen doesn't shake so much, but I did get a bit tired of the RNG near the final levels. If you spend all your good randomly-generated levels at the easy start, you end up with some zero-cover levels near the end. I liked what I played (70%) but I didn't want to grind out the last few levels to complete the game.

QUICKERFLAK is an uncompromising burst of arcade-style adrenaline, stripping the twin-stick shooter genre down to its rawest, most urgent form. The concept is immediately brutal and simple: you have 90 seconds to eliminate all threats in a procedurally generated arena, and you're only given one life to do it. No upgrades, no second chances, no tutorials. From the moment the timer starts, you're either fully in control or completely overwhelmed—and often both within the same run. The game thrives on pure speed and chaos. Its top-down perspective and stark, glitchy art style evoke a fusion of early arcade aesthetics and experimental minimalism. You're thrown into randomized levels that mix industrial hallways with organic chaos, and within seconds, swarms of enemies descend. Movement is tight, weapons are devastating, and the moment-to-moment tension is unrelenting. There's a strong emphasis on reflex over planning, but skilled players will start to recognize subtle patterns and room configurations. Every mistake feels fatal, and most are—but every second you survive feels like a personal triumph. Where QUICKERFLAK excels is in how it embraces its own limitations. There are no sprawling mechanics or progression trees. Instead, it leans into replayability through raw challenge and speed. The short runtime per session encourages experimentation, and each run feels meaningfully different due to randomized spawns and layouts. There's a rush in figuring out how to shave off even a single second or find a cleaner angle through a room. And once you're in that rhythm, the compulsion to try again becomes hard to shake. Despite its polish, the game isn’t without its rough edges. Certain enemy placements or room geometries can feel unfair, occasionally leading to instant deaths that seem more random than earned. Some players might find the visual effects, particularly screen shake and fast cuts, a bit disorienting during high-stress moments. The difficulty curve is steep and unforgiving, and it's not shy about punishing inattention or hesitation. Yet, these design choices reinforce the game’s identity—raw, fast, and built for players who want to be tested, not guided. What makes QUICKERFLAK stand out is its commitment to a singular vision: a pure test of skill packed into a 90-second time trial. It’s not a game you play for story or exploration—it's something you boot up to challenge your reflexes and see how far you can push yourself. For those who enjoy speedrunning, reaction-based gameplay, or minimalist design that prioritizes intensity, it delivers in spades. It’s a rare title that manages to feel both nostalgic and fresh, and at such a low price point, it offers exceptional value for a focused, high-octane experience. Rating: 8/10

QUICKERFLAK is peak minimal design: 90 seconds of fast-paced hell where every decision counts. Kill or be killed. One wrong move, one missed target—and it’s over. The game delivers an instant adrenaline rush, perfect for when you need a quick, intense 15-minute break and something to challenge you. 4/5

Honestly I don’t quite like the game’s art style, I nearly uninstalled it after the first 2 launches got stuck at the title screen, and the title font made me sick. It turned out I need to left-click to enter the game. But the actual gameplay is fun. QUICKERFLAK brings the player straight into the gameplay, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t need instructions. The rules are straightforward: reach the highlighted area on the right side of the map, and don’t get killed. After half an hour of trial and error, I managed to beat 84% of the game, which is the second-to-last map and probably my limit. The game is one-hit-kill for both you and your enemies. It seems simple, but it’s tough to make a successful run. The automatically generated map can be unfavorable for attack and favorable for defense, especially when barriers are < shaped and you always start on the left side of the map. Bullets are refilled for each new map, but time is not, and you need to complete the entire game in 90 seconds. But dashing doesn’t help, it usually will only get you killed. I die 99% of the time because I got shot by enemies, not because I run out of time. The enemies are always actively shooting at you, and the AI is generally good. My advice is: Be patient, lure enemies into your safe shooting distance, fire, and retreat behind a barrier, repeat until you clear the map. Once you’re used to the mechanics, you can try shooting while dashing to the highlighted area when 2-3 enemies remain. Since the map is randomly generated, sometimes you start without a barrier for cover, making you vulnerable at the beginning. The first 1-2 seconds are critical, you need to either move behind a barrier or shoot quickly to eliminate enemies before they can react. Another thing is, after enemies shoot, they will have a brief pause like they’re reloading. Once you get the rhythm, you can use this short window time to either attack or dash toward the highlighted area. That’s all the advice I can share for now. For my best run, I died because I ran out of time, I wasn’t paying much attention to the time countdown, and I think it’d be great if the game gives an alert for every 10 seconds as a reminder, because once the game starts, it would be difficult to check the countdown in the left corner. I recommend this game. My curator page

Classic shooter, you have 90 seconds to complete all levels and kill enemies. ✅The game is very simple and doesn't require much thought. You just need quick reflexes and a bit of luck (a lot depends on how the covers are drawn). It took me almost 90 minutes to get all the achievements, but it worked out well. ✅Brilliant soundtrack, very dynamic and enjoyable to play. ✅Good price for the quality of the game. ❌Big downside is that your shots blend with those of your opponents. ❌Levels are randomized, so your chances of winning depend on the walls/covers. If you have any questions about my reviews, feel free to ask. Im happy to answer them. All reviews are my own!! Best regards, King Viking Bezimienny, Polish Game Reviewer.
