Fun and playful. Easy to play for a bit, but fun to play for hours. Great game.

Imagine Mordhau made the gameplay more realistic and less cartoony. This game is also more forgiving to newer players rather then Mordhau where new players are completly screwed.

decent game fun fighting and a good game to grind for gear. downside is the spawns can clog up if someone goes afk and you get booted for killing them to get around them because you have no other option.

I slept on this game way too long, didn't think hacking and slashing people would be so competitive. picked up an apple and killed someone with it. 10/10 would lose my arms and dance again.

It's actually comical how easy it is to smurf this game. Have fun at the higher tiers when you already milked what little research you can get out of your knight class. Event times are hilarious because people just blatantly exploit the matchmaking system to get pointless exp. Go throw a pig corpse at a peasant for 50 dollars. Worst time to play which is rediculous. Oh and they only let you use the longsword for them... must be fuckin nice.

After coming back and playing the game I hate to write this review. since my departure a few years ago and coming back to this now the game has hardly changed. The combat system is still enjoyable but is the exact same. The game will no longer receive updates and will likely only die down over time. Especially considering you no longer unlock anything other than cosmetics past lvl 20 on the characters, grinding is not at all rewarded and instead playing the game occasionally is more enjoyable. But when a massively multiplayer game relies on people and most arent grinding... you get my point. On top of that there will be no more updates. I think there are better avenues to spend your time/money instead of this.

Thank you for making this game. I haven't had this much fun in so long. Bannerlord's online community petered out and I thought I may never have some of these feelings again. The first Chivalry never felt good enough for me but this one fixed everything. Third person is completely viable and fun now. The combat is still slow and methodical but everything feels less janky and just better overall. Some of the maps/spawns are confusing at first but I got used to them after a couple days.
They did so many cool things with this game that I always wondered why no one else was doing. There's a map where, at the end, there top players become The King and everyone battles to be the first to kill the opposing king. You can cut off an archer's head, pick it up, hold it over your head and cry out, then finally throw it at the enemy. Cavalry still isn't as good as Mount and Blade but everything else is so good.

Bought this game on sale because I wanted a pvp-game that puts you right into the action without much fuss. Something where strategy doesn't matter too much and it's more about the tactics and combat. And that's pretty much what I expected and exactly what I got.
However, I also got a game with an incredible atmosphere and fantastic sound designs. The voice lines are just hilarious and so well-made and any fighter worth his salt will use them constantly. I expected the swordplay to be difficult and complex and it certainly is, but incredibly satisfying to learn and extremely fun when you manage to pull off a cool move.
It can be frustrating. Sometimes the teams are stacked on one side with veteran players and that will make your existence miserable. Sometimes you're on the stacked team and can relish in the blood of your foes. The chat is a toxic mess sometimes as is common with these types of games. But at least there's accessible features to mute the spammers.
For the sale price I think the game was incredibly well-worth it, as I've clocked 50 over barely a week (yikes).
Fresh meat... and vegetables!

You buy a game, its fun and enjoyable.
Then you get forced into a privacy agreement where you must agree for them sell your personal data in order to play.
If you disagree you can launch the game and look at the agreement, because thats the only thing you are allowed to do as a paying customer
