I can't tell if that's specifically Momiji Inubashiri or some nondescript white wolf tengu in that one stage, but this gets a spiritual 10/10 either way for including them in the game. And the boss fights are cool.

I suspect that the dev is rather young and wanted to make an excessively difficult game because that's what all of the cool kids are doing.
Sadly, this endeavour has only resulted in a bucket of cheesey deaths.
For anyone interested I would suggest playing 'I Wanna Be The Guy' which makes fun of games like this.

An OK experience, while the bosses are alright and the controls are responsive, the stages feel flat and the music just doesn't vibe with me. I don't feel strongly about a positive or negative review, but force me to choose I'd go for negative.
