The game is very quick to complete 100%, otherwise it's boring, but sometimes I'll come back to play it anyway.

This game made me understand the appeal of AAA games, all the AAA games I've played up until this point haven't had such a focus on being so cinematic during cut scenes or even during gameplay. However this game is next level cinematic, the way the cut scenes flow so smoothly back into the gameplay and vice versa is amazing, it makes you feel like you're playing a movie. The story is pretty basic and not that long however the extra quests to do and the gameplay more than makes up for that, it's just so satisfying, but after playing for a while the gameplay can get a bit repetitive. I view this game as something to come back to every few years so you can fall in love with it again not something to be playing constantly. Absolute masterpiece, I 100% recommend giving it a try.

Offers everything the first one does but in a shorter package, definitely worth getting on sale

As a standalone game this is fine. It's entertaining and I was able to 100% it in 40 hours. Compared to Spider-man Remastered though, it's a very weak sequel. Same map, less gadgets, less achievements, less suits, less upgrades, less missions, less bad guys, less story. About half as much content as Spiderman Remastered. It feels more like DLC than a whole separate game.
