While some parts may get tedious on repeat playthroughs, the experience is very much worth it.

I adore this game immensely- and I haven't even finished it yet (I left it running for a while on accident, hence the playtime lol) It's got fantastic presentation, simple but engaging mechanics and loop, solid writing and compelling characters in a charming world. I can't recommend it enough if this seems even VAGUELY interesting to you. Plus, there's some very charming and pretty, period piece sapphic romance! (no I'm not biased because I'm a lesbian, whatever gave you such a silly idea? lol)

Little Goody Two Shoes is a fun horror Puzzle game that I think more people need to know about. Beautiful artwork from 90's style anime and mixed media that makes the horror more intense and the artwork standout with fantastic soundtrack that will get addicting fast. As someone who sucks at puzzles I still enjoyed them (mostly). The game so good I got all the achievements from it and it's other in universe game, Pocket mirror. The story of both is amazing and connects really well but I won't say why hehe. This is AstralShift's golden Girl (no pun intended) and I can't wait for their future projects. Also one of the most tasteful and fun LGBTQ representations in video games. Go play the game if you love horror, puzzles, and gay people

I highly recommend this game to everyone if you're a big fan of media that's cute, horror, and nostalgic at the same time!! I love the interface of the game, the creative/art direction and cutscenes, and the characters are so lovable, they're so gurliepop! I also love the fact it has voices for some characters, overall a wonderful experience!! freya best girl <3

This game was one of the best I have played. I am a sucker for games that put attention to detail and alternate endings that reward the player for their work. Personally I would recommend this to any one who wants something that is scary but wont give you a heart attack. I can not stress enough how beautiful the artwork and music are. And the writing is really good. (Leb is the best girl btw) I also love the fact that this is a prequel to pocket mirror 1000000/10

tl;dr - A mostly linear, 8-hour adventure-puzzle game. This was a very interesting ride! The premise pulled me in immediately and kept me hooked with the feeling that I was always one step away from piecing the story together. Features a beautiful and visually striking art style which has been gorgeously animated, creating an eerie balance of cuteness and unease. Not everything is fully fleshed out, and the ending comes a little out of nowhere but its oldschool quirks and puzzles were plenty fun to work out.

I really wish I could recommend this game, because everything in terms of environment/character/UI design, sprite work, cut scenes and atmosphere are jaw-dropping gorgeous. I grew up on classic 80's and 90's anime, so seeing such visual inspirations included here has my utmost appreciation. I can tell a lot of love and dedication was put into the style choices alone. However, style can only take a game so far, especially if it involves damage-inducing puzzles. The puzzles in this game are not only punishing, but come off arbitrary with manufactured difficulty and very little signals or hints to go off of in order to complete them. If the intent is to have first time players get wrecked multiple times within the very first few puzzle levels with little information to go off of, or when dangerous elements are well blended into the highly detailed backgrounds, it immediately becomes an agonizing experience off rip. Further examples contain spoilers:
The Candle room wasn't too terrible, though the rings of light are very subtle against the reflections and backdrop that I got my ass handed to me a couple times in my first play through. The chest that gives you a hint about the last key was very cryptic and I had issues connecting the message with the golden bookcase. Not the worst offender. The butterfly cave was a little worse; while you are told through Elise to attract the butterflies and get them to the light source, the last part of this had ZERO indicators on having to turn your lamp off multiple times to solve the last room. I lost a ton of matches and resources because of this. The Murium Bird-Head forest puzzle was agonizing; I got the concept of hiding behind the one tree that wasn't shaking to avoid the other bird heads, but because of the weird hit box issues with Elise, one slight bump of the directional button and you still get hit despite still being behind the safe tree. I literally had to brute force/dodge in order to get from point A to B. The biggest offender, the one that discouraged me from playing this game further, was the Apfel rescue. The spikes surrounding the tiles in the first segment were oddly difficult to dodge due to the character's wide hit box and blending in with the colors of the tiles. It's even worse when playing the game on Switch because the movements rely on the left stick, making it easy for the character to circle back and get hit again. Took me a second full play through of the puzzle to recognize that the tiles you don't want to step on are the ones shaking. It is VERY subtle. The spikes felt incredibly unnecessary since there's already the risk of falling through the ground. The second segment felt like torture; then again I never was a fan of 'character mimicking movements' puzzles. Because of the map being zoomed out to a certain degree, and the spikes are well blended within the environment, it was hell trying to get through. If Apfel ends up going ahead of Elise, the camera doesn't adjust its position, so you have to do some guess work to get him back up into the shot and pray you don't get stabbed by the unforeseen spikes. The next part was the worst; spikes, spikes more spikes and spikes falling down threatening to crush you, all while having to guide Apfel when you can't even see him.
I can't imagine how much play testing was contributed to the difficulty factor for the puzzles, since this was in development for years. While there is more movement control with the Steam version, it is absolutely dismal on the Switch even with calibrating the controllers. I really wanted to enjoy this game for its atmosphere, visuals and story, but when you include aggressive puzzles with vague semblance of how to do them without losing so many resources or life, I just have to admit this ain't for me and back away.

An absolutely charming story based horror game! I thoroughly loved the game visual direction of 90s shoujo style anime with rpg sprites, the dialogue and pacing kept me awake late at nights wanting to see the story through. It is a slower paced game minus the Witching Hours where it gets spicy. To those who have not played this yet, be aware that this is a TRAGIC story if the horror and creepy elements were not enough of a clue. I just finished my first play through for ending #3 and I can't wait to revisit the game to unlock the other endings. My only complaint is that I wish I can skip the dialogue that I have read through after two or three times, I just want to skip it to get going to the next task. Also, the serpent's lair for Friday needs a serious flash warning or have the devs edit that bright white popping on the screen for the lightning flashes. My eyes are still recovering from that night. The mini game during the day, "Kiss the Rat" to me sucks but my timing on an Xbox controller could suck as well. Definitely recommend this game to those who are interested in horror, dating sim, story based games.

I love this game so much. I was looking for magical girl type games and saw a recommendation for LGTS and I'm glad I listened. The art of the game is fantastic, especially the multimedia style scenes. It's got replay value as well, having as many endings as it does. You can tell this game came after Pocket Mirror and the developers really took on a lot of feedback for improvements. I'm so excited to see what else AstralShift comes out with! PS Be prepared to save scum,
and don't miss the mission with the windmill or you'll soft lock your endings.
Personally, I thought this game was perfect for me. I love the art style and direction, it has a 90s shoujo anime style blended with classic Disney multi-plane. The character design was so detail oriented and cohesive as well. I became addicted to playing everyday so I could keep unlocking new bits of the story. The game-play is also pretty challenging, especially if you're constantly on edge from fear. I love the blend of classic, hyper-feminine dreamy fairytales with horror.
