I love playing multiplayer and getting cut off by like 3 different 30+ car trains and then derailing on a unset switch 15 seconds later would highly recommend.
Too bad installing "Kuid" take like 6 years.

Had an old version of TRAINZ and loved it, so figured I would give this one a try. Right from the get go I ended up having major FPS issues on my 6950 XT even when I lowered the settings. The simulator ending up shutting down my video card and corrupting something which led to losing one of my screens. Attempted to reinstall the drivers, which ended up failing requiring a full uninstall of my video card and reinstall. This is VERY poorly optimized, stay far far away.

30 fps on i7 13700 and 4070 Ti. No support for widescreen in full screen mode, only windowed. Errors when loading content. Horribly made 25+ years old game with little updates.

UNPLAYABLE, after update to SP 5, every 1 sec in game terrible shuttering happen, lot of bugs.
Before update i played normal and got 30 - 60 fps+, after update 10 - 15 fps.
its not an update to upgrade but to DOWNGRADE.
PLS FIX, I CANT PLAY ANYMORE.

I just can't recommend a game that, in 2025, DOES NOT HAVE A HIGHER RESOLUTION THAN 1440p! Yes, that's right. Enjoy Auran's 20 year old IP that they've been milking for every last cent that they can on your $1000 4k 55' Smart TV in stunning 1440p - you'll get to enjoy all the glory of 8x FXAA, DX11 and ohhh, the beautiful and immersive z fighting everywhere. This game should be pulled from Steam for this reason alone, not to mention the disaster that is the Auran Download Station - a mess of misnamed, same named or duplicate routes, sessions and rolling stock that will be a whole new game in and of itself - THE SEARCH FOR MISSING DEPENDENCIES. While I appreciate the freedom that creators have with the surveyor mode in this game, the lack of quality controls or basic housekeeping of this mess of an archive of mods makes it mostly useless. With dozens of different "versions" of this sim dating back to the stoneage, the download station has become nothing more than a dumping ground for anyone and everyone to upload their half finished, lazily named and poorly curated creations. What shit show. AVOID!!!!!

From what it seems to me, Trainz Railroad Simulator 22 is a direct upgrade from TRS19. It features more built in routes compared to TRS19, which is really nice. The graphics are also better on 22. One thing I am extremely thankful for is the better download time, which went from taking hours on TRS19 to less than a minute on TRS22. Overall, for the 80% discount I got on the game, I believe it is a worthy investment.
