I enjoyed my experience playing this game mostly; however, I do not recommend going for 100% people say this game is obtuse, but the majority is not. most of the game gives you plenty of hints in game from npc's dialogue, not just the hint guy, or the animals themselves for their hints. that being said: a good chunk of them are very vague, overly literal, or just patience tests. the thing is though: you can avoid all the annoying ones and be able to complete the game. I would highly recommend completing the rocket as soon as you can, while rescuing whatever animals and getting whatever love you can along the way. once you have all 5 pieces, just move on. the final like 5-10% of stuff I needed for 100% after getting all the rocket components, does not respect your time. most of it required me standing still in a place until a thing happened, most of it way longer than reasonably expected. the rest required me going to places at certain days and times, but for multiple instances of solarday for example and I had to kill time in between or sleep in the bed a bunch to pass it quickly. the fishing contest was the worst, I had to save scum for it because it's pure luck. also yoshida telling you to stalk people for an entire day, man they're right, that's the only way you're gonna find some of these annoying ones without using a guide, but you don't have to, there's plenty of less shitty love on the map. most of the game though: fun puzzles, interesting stuff.

absolute treat of a game, first few hours are a bit of a drag but once things start to click its hard to put down. bless u toby fox for indirectly allowing the west to enjoy this sleeper hit of a ps1 game. the game plays like an old puzzle solving click and point title but with very light rpg elements, if that sounds like ur kind of game i implore u to give this a try, u wont regret it

One of THE BEST games I've ever played! My suggestion is not to use any guides until really necessary. The exploration here is so interesting and fun. The story is heartwarming and the soundtrack is undescribable!

This game taught me chloroform is a great sleeping agent. Also the soundtrack is fantastic, I wish more games gave you a customizable playlist.

Clocking in at about 10 hours on the Nintendo Switch version, definitely feeling the *Love* for this game. Can't say much that hasn't been said before, it can be a bit of a grind to play through, but the characters, scenarios, and the MD system make up for that. There are lots of lovely small secrets to find around moon world, and once you piece the story together, you'll find that it's very intricate and honestly really cool despite being somewhat easy to summarize. Really glad this title got localized a couple of years back, looking forward to Onion Games' next RPG title :)

This is a very unique time to be playing this game where there's an ordained Hero running around with a giant bladed weapon making everything worse for everyone and all the townsfolk are just letting it happen.
