An excellent game well worth the money. Whilst the core concept is based on Vampire Survivors, ZS plays very differently. Not only due to the default endless mode, but the ability to build your own drop list with the deck really makes this game shine. The only thing that irks me is how certain weapons (spinner and reaper for sure) rotation range grows to the edge of the screen at higher levels so it feels like they are kinda wasted.

I'll be honest, I never normally play games like this. However, this game might change that. It's very addictive, had a ton of fun levelling up my character and trying out different starting perks. Gameplay is smooth and intuitive, style is right up my alley. For the price, it's worth a go. I do think though that it might get repetitive pretty quick, but I am looking forward to seeing where this game can go in the future, hopefully with the addition of some extra gamemodes.

A decent VS clone. Although updates have ceased. My biggest gripe with it is that you cant take screenshots using steam. As for bugs, the Health regen buff is bugged and does not work. You can pick what drops that can spawn for the default mode which is nice so you can cut out stuff you dont like or is bugged out. There is a leaderboard for the daily run but nothing more. Over all, for the price it is, its not a bad game to pick up, even more so if its on sale. As for me, i dont think ill be putting too much more time into it, not being able to take SS of good runs using steam kinda killed it for me. To anyone that is going to buy this game and reads this review, best advice i can give is make room for the "increase all stats" upgrade in the upgrade deck options at the start and pump points into the +crit chance and air drops. It will snowball your run and make for a fun experience.

honestly it's not bad. the one thing it does better than vampire survivors is infinite growth, but that comes at the price of early game and power ups being less impactful. i really hope they keep updating it so we get further content and some sort of "check point" system because repeating each time currently is pretty bland as you will always get the same weapons to upgrade and as the upgrades are limited it's less roguelike and more endurance.

Games decent fun but its pretty far from finished. Very little info given and the UI leaves much to be desired atm. When you start getting into the higher waves there's so much going on that its hard to see your character and there's no option to turn down or off visual effects.

It is clear that it is based on Vampire Survivors, but do not get attached to it. The game itself has cute graphics pixel-based, and it does deliver the fun as it intends - Instead of a timer, we have a wave system which increases the numbers of enemies each single time. The price is actually very nice. With air drops (like in B.R. games), you can get upgrades for your current skills, even new ones. And at the end of each run, you get to upgrade your characters, and that is what I like at the most. Right now, it does not appear to be much challenging and there are no more than 2 achievements, but I have faith in it. With regular updates, a few improvements, more achievements and so on, the game will play very neatly. Leaving Vampire Survivors aside, you will enjoy it so much. We have enough room for both games, or even more in the future! Go buy it :)

Well the game is "ready for release" now and it plays the same as 5 months ago lmao. It's probably bug-free, but I was expecting more content updates. Hell even in the form of paid content. Just...anything? idk. It's one of the worst survivor games out there. Kinda sucks that they used the title, because I'd bet someone else could do the zombie theme really well and flesh it out. Anyway, me no like. 5/10

I played this game enough to have a good idea of its potential. I also played a lot of Vampire Survivors. If you want to see some gameplay, I put a 55-minute long video in the Community Tab. There is no denial that this game is heavily inspired by Vampire Survivors. But it's not a clone. And when you play it, it feels different. The game is changing a lot right now. The dev is working very hard on this game and keeps adding stuff. The video shows the insanity of it (so many mobs, crates, explosions), but as I am writing this, there are less crates, the crash that happened to me at 100k kills is fixed, and mini-bosses were added. I know Vampire Survivors raised the bar for a $3 game. But what I see in this one, is tremendous potential with a developer who is listening to the players. As time goes on, it will get more and more polished. I 100% recommend this. Try it out, max out your character, join the Discord, and explore the new content that keeps getting added - almost daily, so far.

Only 3 bucks. its been about a month and a half since the dev has stopped updating and commenting in the discussions, im assuming its just abandoned at this point. just play vampire survivors, they at least update and add to the game,
