Fantastic game! Solid combat and the art style is great. I really enjoyed the horror focused moments in the game it was a great way to mix the game play up a bit. Cultic is a MUST PLAY if you're into boomer shooters. PS. the shotgun is a BEAST! ;)

Graphics - 4.5 Sound - 5 Controls - 4.5 Fun Factor - 5 Immersive atmosphere, great mechanics, specifically with the Dynamite, sliding and head shots. It is clear what the vision is for this game, and its fun to realize that vision through playing it. One of my favorite shooters all-time.

I can't pin-point anything in particular that is great about this game because it as a whole is absoloutely spectacular, keep doing what 'yer doing folks! You're making some good shit here!

Great retroFPS. Really good music and a fun little adventure with just the right amount of story. I really enjoyed the map design as well. Totally worth 10 bucks. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Really great retro shooter. A lot of games I've found fail to make their weapons seem punchy and powerful and fun to use, but Cultic is the example of guns done right. Each weapon is satisfying in their own way and you never feel like your shots don't have impact. Combine the awesome gunplay with the gorgeous artstyle, intricate environments, and surprisingly fast and fluid movement movement system, and you've got a shooter that is well worth the $9.99 it costs to pick it up (ignoring sales). Plus, since only chapter 1 is out right now, you've got even more content waiting in the future. Buy it!

Probably the best modern old school shooter on the market. Excellent gunplay, excellent vibes, great level design, a variety of different ways to play the game (slow with precision, fast speed runner or something in-between) definitely a GOAT. Shout out to the soundtrack too which absolutely slaps.

Between Dusk and Cultic, I can honestly say that while both are great, Cultic is better in my opinion. I love Dusk, and while its levels may appeal more to the boomer shooter maze map aficionados and easter egg hunters, Cultic feels like a highly focused and expertly designed game with lots of passion and creativity poured into every asset. The less maze like levels and esoteric secrets of Cultic make it an excellent gateway for people unfamiliar with boomer shooters to work their way into the genre; in that regard Cultic may be the best pick-up-and-play shooter I've played in a long while. I'm biased, but the music is also amazing, perfect tonal choice. Very good stuff.

I was honestly suprised to find out that this was a one man project. It's a really good game. It's short (for now) but the content that is here is good and It's very well polished. The gunplay is very satisfying and there is a nice variety in guns also. The map design and atmosphere are amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend this game.

Overall one of the best FPS games I've ever played. -Guns and explosives feel punchy, sound great and are ALL both satisfying and useful. -Maps are big, well designed and varied with plenty of secrets to find and enemies to fight -Bullet time and the gore system are both awesome My only issue is that the game can be a bit easy, even on "very hard". Probably because you can 1-tap headshot most enemies at long range and "skip" most of the fights that way. Still can't wait for the expansion.
