Imagine if Heroes of Might and Magic became an auto-battler.
It’s an epic and easy to understand game with a tiny learning curve and a decent challenge. All of the factions feel unique and really fun to play (personal fav decay).
It’s especially fun to play with a buddy. My brother and I have had some pretty fun 1v1s and campaigns against the AI.
Only complaint is I wish it had a an actual multiplayer or at least a way to play across two computers. The hotseat mechanic is at least something, but being able to play against someone online would be sick.

the issue is its not a gradual build up with the enemies its like you immediately get bombarded with overpowered enemies its like youll only win at the grace of ai not coming at you first. also gotta love spawning into a map where theres 5 different portals and you cant get ahead cause all 5 portals lead directly to your homeland lastly why do the ai's take so long its a pixelated game?!? and when you do win good luck the error codes will make sure you wont ;)

Getting rushed by impossible armies on normal difficulty, too hard for me. The depth is also kind an illusion since each faction has very limited rosters and recruitment pools

I have many hours on the GoG version and just bought it on steam for the remote play. Amazing game. If you're a fan of Heroes of Might and Magic then you will enjoy this game. The only negative is that there's no multiplayer outside using remote play.
