Themed in World War I, with super attractive graphics and very cool animations, it took the Windows Minesweeper game to another level. A very beautiful and fun challenge. I recommend!

Great game!
Congratulations to the Devs! This is the best minefield retelling I've ever played :)
The idea of bringing the WW1 theme fit perfectly to illustrate the game.
This is a game where you have a lot of fun and relax for hours as you progress through the levels.
I'm addicted!

Fantastic way to integrate the gameplay into real life, complete with lovely historical research and little details to bring out the feeling of being present during notable events during the war. Relatively short gameplay time - 9 stages, took me about 29 minutes.

This game fixes the main problem with the previous War Mines title. The minesweeper boards are larger so you aren't reliant on getting multiple lucky guesses in a row. It's also less expensive. Does have some grammar errors in the historical descriptions, but nothing horrendous. No replay value-once you've played it you've seen all there is. For future entries, adding a re-playable basic minesweeper game with a theme based on the setting would be nice. Could also try adding some new mechanics to minesweeper based on the wartime setting.

I loved Minesweeper back in the day so this was a no brainer at regular price let alone sale price. Pretty cool little game. Its got some charm to it and doesn't really take that long to complete. Love the cut scenes in between boards too.

Loved the research that has been done on The Great War (aka World War I). I learned something about WWI that I did not previously know about the dogs used. This is a quick game though. Like many people, completed the game in less than an hour. Gives a new spin on the old Windows Minesweeper game.

While this is a rather short game, the cinematic nature of it, the quick and easy minesweeper game play and the well-researched facts throughout really make it worth a play through.

It scratches the itch for Minesweeper lovers to play more Minesweeper.
I really like the idea of telling history through this kind of media.
My only complaint would be it's too short for it's price.

The better of the two War Mines games, in my humble opinion. I'm very fond of the World War 1 setting and am an advocate for seeing more games using it as a setpiece rather than it's older brother World War 2. This game used it very well, even going past the previous game by including trivia alongside the gameplay.
While on the topic of gameplay, I don't really have much to say since it is just Minesweeper. However, like War Mines WW2, it's at least more interesting than normal Minesweeper variants due to some of the unique level layouts.

Quick and easy minesweeper game that teaches you a simple history of WW1 and the experiences within. A great educational tool for those just learning about WW1.
Pros: Simple design, sound effects/visuals, and history helps you become more immersed in the experience of minesweeping.
Cons: Hits most of the major battles and talks about smaller battles as well, this in itself is great, however some maps were timed which made reading the history blurbs and finishing the game more challenging without purposely restarting the field.
Suggestion: Add the history blurbs into a separate section/gallery that can be unlocked as you play through.
