Fun rogue-lite card game with a ton of content.
Pros:
- Plenty of character selection
- Fun setup and interaction with creating/using each deck
- Opponents feel different from each run, mostly due to the interactions and paths
- Loads of content, with story modes for each character, increasing difficulty challenges and more
- Surprising amount of solid stories
- Looks great and has plenty of character look/outfit/card options to change your look (but falls a bit far into the 'big boob anime' tropes IMO)
Cons:
- Poorly translated from Chinese to English which takes away a bit from the story telling and can be confusing for first-time players (it all makes sense, but needs some time put in first)
- Balance could use tweaking as some builds can feel OP, while others, not so much
It's not up to Slay the Spire quality, and I'd probably place it a hair behind Monster Train, but if the rogue-lite deckbuilder is your thing, it's definitely worth a look.
