A pure and generic yuri romance executed fairly well. 8-10 hours long. Cute and diabetes-inducing. Captivating atmosphere. If you're interested in this story, you should just buy the OST along with the game. Note that while the romance plot has a quite satisfying closure, the "mystery" plot ends on a cliffhanger.
Oh and this is good Japanese reading material. Modern writing, nothing too complicated, and convenient language-switching functionality. (Try setting the main language to Japanese then press E and J in-game)
The chemistry between the two difficult main characters who's brains and preconceptions are wired drastically differently is fantastic. And I like relationships whose developments focus on emotional intimacy instead of physical intimacy. It's a beautiful spiral dance around each other until the inevitable collision.
I actually have no idea why this resonates so well. This is nothing similar to real-life lesbian relationships, and I don't usually like angsty romance stories. Maybe the angst feels authentic and not too over-the-top, and traces subtle changes in the relationship well. The writing reminds me of the sensation of ruminating over trivial thoughts back when I was young.
