Great puzzle game! I played both Boxes and now Doors, I probably preferred Boxes tbh but enjoyed both. If you enjoy puzzle games, you will enjoy this game. Puzzle vary from easy to challenging, I did refer to a walk through once or twice to get through. Grab the bundle of these two games. Hope to see more games like this from this developer!
If this is your game style, also check out The Room series. It's amazing.

A wonderful puzzle game.
If you are familiar with games like The Room, or The House of Da Vinci, this is similar in execution but with small dioramas. Each level you are presented with a fully 3d thematic setpiece, where the ultimate goal is to open the main doors to the next level.
Puzzles start easy and reach a moderate level by end game, it's almost impossible to get stuck for more than 3 minutes. Some people might find the game just too easy, but for me it was fine once you reach some of the multilayered puzzles.
Each level has 2 hidden gems and a plot scroll that are optional items but needed if you want to access a couple of end levels. However, they are super simple to find and the game keeps track of which ones you missed if you need to go back. There are about 50 different levels, each one can be cleared in 5 minutes or less.
Sound department is adequate, expect little noises for every action. Music is mostly atmospheric and forgettable.
The only bad things I found, is a bugged puzzle around halfway, where it's easy to desync its components and requires button smashing until the game decides it's solved. Also, the game has 2 possible endings, but the plot and cutscenes for them seem to be switched for some reason.
A good recommendation for those moments where you want to solve little puzzles.

Overall a good game with the exception of one puzzle that just refused to work but they do give you a skip option if it hangs up. All other puzzles were great. Well worth the money.

I've really enjoyed Doors: Paradox very much, so far. Just finished part one, I love puzzles. If you enjoy puzzles, I believe you will have a lot of fun with this app. The puzzles aren't quite as involved/difficult as Boxes which I will continue to play after I complete Doors.

Doors: Paradox is the predecessor of Boxes by about 2 years. This is an important fact as if you play Boxes 1st and then Doors: Paradox you will probably feel a bit disappointed as I did. Doors: Paradox does show it’s an early game with the not as tight zoom and lack of indications for many interactions in the game. Some parts are better, it’s nice clicking on a key to spin it in Doors: Paradox vs having to spin the key in Boxes. I found myself many times just clicking around to find zoomed in areas for interaction as it wasn’t apparent as it is in Boxes. I also got frustrated as dragging items in the inventory to the use location can be a bit unforgiving too.
You need to find all the blue and red gems to unlock the final 2 doors per chapter, this adds an extra element of having to click or look around the levels to find them.
Even with my gripes it’s still a good game, I would just suggest playing this one either before Boxes (the successor) or after you have time to process after finishing Boxes. If you do both back to back you may have some whiplash which may affect your experience.

I bought ‘Doors: Paradox’ because I really enjoyed its successor ‘Boxes’. Although the puzzles are much simpler and the mechanics are not as sophisticated, it's great fun.

This was a good game. Fun, simple and healthy. like a soft gym session for the brain.
I couldn't get too deep into reading the scrolls and the "lore" as it felt intuitively more like its own thing rather than related to the puzzles since it was attempting to deal with some existential issues not fitted for younger ages while the game could be played by any ages. I didn't like the way the cat was involved either, I think it would have been more sensible if the doors opened and the hallways led to new doors as you (or the cat) entered them, without having to enter the level menu. it would also have been nice if you could see if you have collected the gems and the scrolls in each level.
But beside these personal thoughts I found this game to be really nice!
