scrapped through most of the major decisions by now and i can confidently say how much of a satisfying and well-thought game this is, even with being 4/7th of the way there. will certainly be looking forward to further development, esp considering i got into it at a very good time (march 3rd update wooo). curious to see how budding romances will develop and impact the storyline further down the line though obviously im there for the morbidness first. and theres a lot there. oh is there. a decently quick playthrough, one game takes about 3 hours as of now, but curiosity is key and it took me six plays to get to know some characters to get attached to them to the point of insanity

I LOOOOVE THIS GAME the characters are so damn charming, your choices have impact on the world, the art is excellent, and it's funny as hell! you can offer every single character a disgusting bag of boiled peanuts, what's not to love?

This is what all visual novels should aspire to be. Incredibly thorough in its choices, huge player agency, distinct characters, beautiful illustrations...we may be a long way out from it being complete but it's already a masterpiece. I highly recommend getting this game now, even without all the episodes out. It's truly special, and even though it's incredibly ambitious the devs continue to rise to the challenge of making this epic behemoth of a game. It's cozy, it's autumnal, it's horrific, it speaks to me.

Great game don't buy it because it isn't done yet and it leaves off on a massive cliff hanger that leads to the pain and suffering of waiting for more episodes to come out...

Came from Slay the Princess and I can say with 100% certainty that neither game disappointed me. Slay the Princess had me obsessed so I figured I'd check out Scarlet Hollow and immediately I fell in love with this game. Every character and event has kept me interested and I can't wait for Episode 5 :) I'm only a bit concerned that my first run through the first 4 episodes had me picking Reese as my love interest.

Absolutely love this game. Compelling mystery, fun characters and good horror. I love psychological horror and this one delivers on every aspect, with a ton of replay-ability. One of my personal favourite horror games and I cannot wait for chapter 5

I truly enjoy this game! The story draws you in with its eerie atmosphere and well-written characters, making you feel truly connected to the unfolding events. The art style is charming, and the choices you make really impact the direction of the story. It’s a slow burn at times, but the tension builds nicely, and the creepy vibe keeps you hooked until the end. Can’t wait for the next episode to release!

Really awesome game so far! I usually only go through and play visual novels one time, but I got hooked and made several different saves to see the different paths and how the different perks affect the story. This game is very well written, and has a very spooky vibe (but not so scary that I need someone else to play for me.. lol). This game is still in early access, BUT the dev's have been very transparent with what is going on, which doesn't happen too often with games these days. If you're one of those people that wants the whole story to be out before they commit, save this to your wishlist and check back later. Each episode has brought more and more content to the game, and is truly a wonderful and interesting experince.

Joke: A dating sim where there's hot women, men and a super cool nb option? Sign me up, who cares about the horrors when you get to smooch these characters? Real Review: This is one of the most expansive and reactive stories I've played while also not compromising on its tone or story. It starts only mildly unsettling but grows into something disturbing and gross while also having heart. The heart being the wonderful cast of characters present who are well executed and are unique each with their own personality.
