Jumpscares alone do not make a game scary.

This short indie horror game puts you in a camp that gives off very creepy and eerie vibes right away. You might wonder "What is the story behind this place?" The more you investigate the more intriguing it becomes while a growing sense of dread makes you think "I should really leave this camp." There is plenty in this game to get jumpscared or freaked out from if you need your horror fix and that's who this game really is for, anyone that likes horror or indie games and needs a new game to play and also wants a quick scare. There is an issue with the audio levels resetting sometimes if you pause so be prepared to go into the settings and fix it. It does at times feel like a "walking simulator" and during those times finding out more about the story is what really is keeping you going. There are a few moments where the camera is locked into a position like when breaking boards down. It would be better to just cut to them being on the ground instead of locking the camera. The idea is there but wasn't executed well and relies on jumpscares a bit too much at times and can feel slightly repetitive and has moments where you're wondering what you're supposed to do. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this to everyone and only recommend this to horror/indie fans. I would wait for a sale before buying.

I'm giving this game a recommend not because it was fully abused by the steam refund policy, but because it truly deserves to be recommended. a truly intriguing story worth the price. The story may be completed in under two hours, but the gameplay and writing are truly worth the investment. Give the game a try, and don't refund just because you can. Indie devs deserve the support, especially in this case.

Easily one of my favorite "EMIKA_GAMES" short-story games. From writing notes to the ghost children back and forth, to making kitty friends.. it is very wholesome, but definitely has a chilling effect to it as well.

This is already my second game from these developers that I've played, and I have to say: I wasn't disappointed! The atmosphere, the sounds, the story... I love it!

Simple, straightforward little horror with jumpscares. Very solid, considering it's from a solo independent dev (if I've understood correctly). The sound is the best part: highly recommend playing with headphones. Some pacing issues, but that is forgivable given how short the whole thing is. In and out in one evening, basically like watching a horror movie - but with greater immersion. Only flaw: can't pet the kitties >:c However, judging by the achievements, you can feed them (which I didn't realize), so the dev gets a pass on that -_-

I played through this 3 times. I originally bought this game during the time where everyone was refunding it which meant to developer wasn’t making any money so I bought it since I enjoyed a couple let’s plays on it. I then went on to play it for myself and loved it
