Weird, surreal, short and fun, I really enjoyed this game. I can't wait to see more

looks really nice, but the game is super annoying. it does the thing you hate to do in that one part of a lot of old point and clicks, but for most of the game: timing. most of the game is timing puzzles instead of being clever or whatever. on top of that, the game is pretty short. despite the name being many pieces, by the time you get to be in multiple pieces, the game is like 2/3rds over, you are in the final area of the game. feels like the game ends at what should have been like 40% into the game. also this is one of those projects where it's clear this is being done entirely by animators; it's like watching a short film produced by gaffers or cinematographers or whatever: you can tell a writer wasn't present during production. it's like great to look at or whatever, but like things just kinda happen for no reason. also add game designer to that, cause yeah, the point and click sin combined with the lack of modern point and click convenience (like press tab to highlight intractable objects, all the new ones have this), and puzzles being real obtuse a lot of the time.

The sole redeeming quality of this game is the visual style. Other than that the game has a lot of the 'moon logic' that is common for the genre, auto saves are far in between, the game is really short (2h), the quality of the images also varies wildly (as in some of them are pixelated), ... While I appreciate the absurd visuals, story and animation, this game is ultimately way too flawed to be sold for €20.
