As an srpg vetern whose first game in the genre was the original FFT, and whose list includes things like FFTA1, a couple SRW games, FM3&4, the original TO (ps1 port), Kamidori, FE8, Disgaea 1&2 plus various other NIS titles, Voidspire and Alvora Tactics, and various other games that are srpg adjacent like Blades of Exile and the 3 Shadowrun crpgs by HBS, and also probably at least a few games that I'm forgetting, I have certain standards when it comes to these things. This game just doesn't really meet those expectations. Frankly, it needs a ton more polish and development. The writing is also not especially great either.
tl;dr: it's not great, this is the kinda game I would only recommend to young children.
Forgot to include Underwater Ray Romano. I knew I was forgetting a game or two.
Add Bahamut Lagoon to that list.
