This game traumatized me.
I bought it expecting a cute, cozy style game where you help out villagers and try to rebuild your island...
Every quest it sends you on has some horrific story of death and destruction...
The little cat story literally broke my heart (I take care of feral cats where I live and it hit way too close to home)....
There isn't much to do. There are a lot of "hidden" areas around the map so it is fun to just go and see what lets you go where. I keep being told there is a cold place and a mountain I can visit but haven't figured out how to get there?
I assume it has something to do with feeding the baby dragons... But getting all the ingredients for their food is hard considering you only get one seed for something that you require 2 of to make it, and it takes almost a week to grow....
There is a "card game" that you have to play but there is NO tutorial on how it works... you just kind of have to figure it out while playing... (like literally not even a "this is what the symbols do") But it is pretty easy to beat once you get the hang of it.
The controls are a little slippery, but the game isn't hard. So far I haven't found a way to "screw anything up", which is on par for the cozy aspect.
But damn... the trauma.
if you get it on sale it might be worth it to buzz around and check out the art.
