Both Neo Geo Pocket Color Section Vol. 1 and Vol 2. are really great. The Neo Geo Pocket Color was like the rich kid's GameBoy back in the 90's.
This is usually how it broke down.
90% of kids had a GameBoy.
8% of kids had a GameGear (and usually had their pockets full of replacement batteries.)
2% of kids had a Neo Geo Pocket, or TurboExpress. (If you had one of those systems back in the day, it was pretty much assumed your family was rich. These where usually the same kids who had a Sega Saturn, or 3DO)

I'm writing this review as a person who has no memories of the NEOGEO POCKET system, simply because I don't think it was even available in my country. First of all, the whole collection feels overpriced for classics. The only thing that caught my attention were the Metal Slug games, but to be honest, even though I was excited to try something new Metal Slug related, it wasn't that much fun. I think nostalgia plays a huge role in the reception of the collection, and if you don't have any memories of it either, you probably won't have much fun exploring it.
