AMAZING!
I love rouge likes & i love fast paced shooters
This game can be slow or (relatively) fast paced (given VR limitations)
There's plenty of classes available & plenty of mods to buy in the starting environment
i love the addition of class agnostic buffs that can be purchased with level-up tokens, it gives a great place to utilise those token for classes that you're just not a fan of & boots the long-term grind-ability.
Speaking of classes i'm not a fan of:
I usually like sniper classes, but the sniper feels too hamstrung by the lack of starting scope (and non-existence of a magnified scope) leading to difficulty in head-shotting for those satisfying long range one-shots + can't reliably 1-shot even with the head-shot after the first couple of levels. given how difficult head-shots can be (especially in high pressure situations) and the extremely low rate of fire (due to the bolt action)& ammunition limitations (can't be loaded when partial), the head-shots really should do something like 3x damage instead of (from what i can see) something like 1.5x
The pistoleer has an issue with limiting the inventory slots, which i don't see as justified since dual pistols isn't all that viable in my experience unless you get laser sights for them. I thought it was also stupid in that you can't load them when holding both, however once i found the eject clip button setting and auto clip loading when bringing them near the holsters, i see how it is supposed to work.
The hunter is problematic in that there is no reticle for aiming & it just did not feel right on the targets in practice. despite the ability to add the standard sights available for all guns, this weapon does not use those attachments to provide you with a reticle (at least you can still get that damage boost). ultimately this class feels just as powerful (rather weak) as the sniper with different "draw backs" ;P
the remaining classes feel good enough, though its pretty much a case of choose your favourite automatic or single shot rifle.
Some other issues as I've seen mentioned and... yeah, some if it sucks:
the enemies do track through walls which means the might just stare your down an you need to peak between bursts.
enemies also, sometimes have unreasonably long sight-lines of detection (with perfect aim) & its never exactly clear what parameters there are for detection (sometimes i can get within 4' of a enemy while hes turned around & sometimes they see me through thick fog + partial environmental obstruction from 30 yards)
luckily, the developer is still active and i hope some of these core issues with enemies & maybe some class specific stuff will be sorted out (or at least maybe more attachment variability such as the aforementioned magnified scope).
Even if it doesn't the game is awesome & highly recommended.

I want to like this game so bad but I just can't. I've never had this many issues with controls in a vr game. I have to smash my controllers together a different way every single time I need to pray. The highlighted item I want to pick up, won't be the one I actually pick up. The amount of loading screens and how long they are don't make sense for the graphics this game has. And once I make it past all of these minor annoyances- the enemies have aim lock and try to shoot you through walls. When you try to peek them, they'll often times have an absurd angle and shoot you before you can even see them.

Solid entry into VR. The gunplay is fun, the levels have good variety, and there a multiple ways to upgrade your equipment in a playthrough that keeps it interesting

Solid first foray into vr shooting.
Guns feel and handle great, sound design is exactly where it needs to be, and the roguelike elements are both a blessing and a curse.
Sometimes I wish the wiki were more fleshed out but given vr's comparatively small community it is what it is.
Especially with the base price at $25 it's a good deal, wait for a sale and it'll be a steal.
