I really wanted to like this game and in the end I did somewhat, just not enough to give this a thumbs up. The game starts out well, but I soon realised the controls are not good, especially the rotation speed, at its max its still way too slow, making it cumbersome. I did like the mechanics of the items you carry with you, like the flashlight for example, you can pick it off your belt and point it with the controller in the darkness, that felt immersive. Having the dog with you is also cool and I didnt get annoyed with it like others have. The game is short, which I dont mind, but near the end I felt the devs were just lengthening it beyond what they did with Layers of fear and I just wanted it to end. The ending I found to be horrible as well. This could have been a great VR game, but sadly it took me out of the immersion all the time with pre-rendered cutscenes and poorly implemented VR mechanics.
