Yet another fun shoot'em up apparently abandoned by developers. Last update was in 2022.

I'm into these kind of games only occasionally. As someone who plays these casually it's very fun. There's a lot of polish. It took me a little bit to figure out how to change the language but it's mostly easier to figure out.

As a young boy growing up in the 90s. I spent many a quarter on weekends at the mall playing 1984 the loop master and many other vertical scrollers. Ever since I've been a super fan of such games and ( Super Retro) has become one of my favorites. If you, like me grew up on these types of games, definitely give this one a chance. You'll be glad you did.

Whoa! If you like shootemups this game has a lot going for it. It's a vertical space shooter with pretty cool retro graphics, a kicking soundtrack and a neat weapon powerup upgrade system. A word of advise though, turn the voice volume down some because it can scream pretty loud sometimes. Other than that, this game I highly recommend. It's kind of addictive.

This is a rock that needs polishing, and I'm happy it's still under development, because while some things are pretty good, others need development. The gameplay is nice, fluid, ships feel good to use and each has its perks. 2 Player Mode is available and it makes the game easier (plus the game even gives double the ammount of powerups when playing with 2 players, so no need to fight over pickups). Most weapons (besides Laser, which is bad) are interesting and useful in certain moments, although some (Missiles) are better than others. Graphics are nice and I have no problems with any of the designs, be it the first level (which is pretty good) or the others. If anything, I'd just like to adjust the Window Size for the Avatars, and maybe adjust their position on the screen. A bigger screen on the lower left would be nice. The BGM is 10/10, really awesome, although some of the music transitions are kind of weird and noticable. Like, 2 tracks start playing while the first is still fading out. Please, fix this. If there's anything I'd say I disliked in the game, is that there are some bad difficulty spikes. Level 1-1 is easy as it should be, level 2-1 is challenging, but level 2-2 is plain frustrating, then comes level 2-3, 3-1 and 3-2 which are somewhat so-so. Please, make level 2-2 easier, less spaceships firing lasers should do the trick. Or maybe make them easier to destroy before they fire their laser. I'll update this review as I manage to get further into the game, only got to 3-3 until now. Edit (16/06): Level 4-3 is as cheap and full of instant-death traps as other reviews claimed it to be, even on easy. The developers said they made it easier, but if this is easier, I don't want to know what's hard, lol. Will update after I get through it.

Catchy music, satisfying gameplay and roguelite elements. I dig it a bunch. There are different characters so you get a bit of variety and you always have access to both a spread shot and a single-target shot without upgrades, meaning you get to the fun part of the SHMUP from the first step onward. The price is perfect, the art is great, the gameplay is flexible enough to appeal to the style of game you want to play and if you were looking at this game to begin with you probably should've already bought it.

Top notch sprite work for a game of this kind. Fun gameplay and multiple choices that affect ship upgrades and resources in adventure mode. In-game waifu hubs are always a charming bonus. Ost's are real bangers, especially stage 1

Really fun game. It has an 80's retro vibe to the music which is pretty awesome. There is 3 ships to choose from and each one is unique for different guns to accomodate different playstyles. Some stages that can get pretty frustrating but at least you can stage select to retry same stage as often as you want. Also, there is a system to make your ship stronger , buy more lives, etc. Controls: It feels responsive using a gamepad. I use a Dual Shock 4 wired with USB cable and game recognizes at a PS4 controller. Content: There is currently only 1 game mode but it does allow for local coop and about 14 stages or so with more modes planned. I think online coop mode to play with long distance friends would be a good addition. Only issue I ran into was language. First time you boot it up it brings up a menu to select English or Chinese, even though I choose english it was still in the Chinese. You can still change to English in game but you have to navigate the chinese option menus to figure it out which is kinda annoying.

yes i recommend this shooter. honestly for me top down shooter is not my main favorite but this is one of the best shooter i've ever played. HOWEVER, theres a minor mistake from the dev that almost makes me not reccomend it, it was BECAUSE THE MENU SCREEN CANNOT BE ACCESSED ANYTIME. here is the story: i was almost stuck forever in this complicated moment: i played it with my daughter in adventure mode, and we left it on the notification that we both get extra jet as stage reward. NOTE: i played as PLAYER1 using keyboard and my daughter AS PLAYER2 using joystick. then...... when we got back and want to continue the game, it was stuck! because the default setting put joystick as player 1! (i set it to player2 before) so what was happening is: we cannot skip the notification to progress the game because it required player2 to press A button! and we also cannot configure the controller button because to open the menu we need to skip that notification first!!!! we even cannot delete autosave data (that was synced with steam cloud) because to do so it also required us to open the menu screen (which need to skip that notification first by pressing A BUTTON ON PLAYER2) . so basically the adventure mode is stuck forever! but thankfully we manage to find the solution that makes me still recommend this game, because this shooter is really good. so this is how we solved it: we need to play arcade mode, and in the inside we open the menu screen and configure the setting of joystick to become player2, then we go to title screen and continue the adventure mode. SO SERIOUSLY: please dev, you guys should make the menu screen (to configure the settings) accessable from any screen. at least make it accessable from the very first title screen.

All the ships are unique with their own bomb and charge bomb moves. They have distinct weapons and build up shot move. Each ship has two main shot types and a rear attack ability. Escorts add in other weapons too. Great music and sound effects. Very good art and visual effects especially for a 2D shmup. My friend and I will have a great time in this one. I'll update this review once I've had a chance to play this with him. Worth the price. Update 4/15/2021 I have played through 2 thirds of the game with my friend. Remember when the going gets tough there is a level up system. You restart each level with base level gear and no escorts but using the reinforce menu and the points you earn from completing a mission you can increase your starting ship count, weapon damage, escort damage, and bombs. It's a fun shmup, it can get tough with a stock ship. We didn't figure out the reinforce menu for a long time so it was tough to beat some of the levels.
