Heavily reliant on player investment into the trilogy of games to maintain the narrative along with their joy of twee horror and characters anyone out of this loop will likely be lost.

An excellent sequel! I've been really enjoying what's being done with these characters. I think the humor was turned up a nice notch in this one too. For a visual novel that is mostly what you expect from the outside, the characters are developing in really fun ways between games. I feel really happy getting to know these characters each game and I think that's a testament to the solid (and charming) writing.
