Lakeside is listed at $14.99 which is grossly overpriced. It is a very chill, limited, and at times even broken, city builder. You'll get a few hours of enjoyment out of it. It's about on par with any number of browser based games made in the early 2000s, think flash games from websites like armor games, kongregate, addictinggames.com etc. that era. In truth it should be listed at about $4.99. If you can get it on sale for a few bucks, it is definitely worth the buy. It's a charming experience that is visually stunning, but it's certainly not worth $15 or even $10. I am giving this a thumbs up, because for a few bucks, it is worthwhile, and that's around what I paid for it. Can't knock it for being overpriced. It is exactly what it says it is.

The background and the buildings are amazing. However, it can get a bit boring without new events or mechanics to make things interesting once in a while.
