Whew boy, where to begin? This is a very rough design. By rough, I mean very amateur coding- something that seems to of been done by a hobbyist programmer and nothing professional at all. The tutorials don't help teach you a thing (maybe you have to read along in the PDF, not sure). The controls are wonky (Do I drag select? Do I right click? Why won't the task force move as one?). The graphics look like they are programmed in so you can't mod them (and they desperately need a mod). You right click on a plane and you get the option to "land troops" from it in the context menu. You can't alt-tab out or minimize. You go to the right where the menu is to zoom in/out or what have you and the map window scrolls along with you. When you launch, the carrier/task force appears to move "into the wind" but there is no wind indicator and you have to correct the course again once they've launched. Just so many little niggling issues with this design which (again), appears to be something was programmed over a couple of weekends as their first coding project. Two minutes of this makes me want to fire up John Tiller's "Midway" instead.

Hard to tell if the simulation is any good, as the game has a really bad interface. Overall it looks unfinished.

Very early days (I've ready the manual and played around for a few minutes as I need UI scaling to actually be able to do much) but I like what I see from a tabletop wargaming perspective. Clearly needs some polish--but from the developer's responsiveness thus far I think that will come. So if you're looking for something to pick up, probably take a pass for now. Hardcore wargamers though should find this an interesting and fun way to burn an evening as development and tweaking continues.

This is a game well worth supporting. Yes a few bugs, but oh boy...the potential! The devs are active in the forum and bug reporting and suggestions are constructive. Report for duty, Admiral!

I had got this game on the first day, and i felt that the controls were rather confusing, and that there wasn't a clear objective.
This game on the other hand seems very unfinished, so i hope i see graphic updates that make this game a little more user friendly. I did however play this game on launch, so what i have seen is untapped potential. I would not recommend purchasing this game for now, but within time I believe that this game will become not only playable, but fun and entertaining!
P.S.-I really like the art style

OK big Leaguers, this game is fun! Reminds me of the old Carrier Strike game. Easy to learn.
Now that I have a few hours of play, I can quibble about minor annoyances, and will later, but the basic game-play is FUN. Send out your search planes, find the enemy task force before they find you, and sick your cap, dive bombers, and torpedo planes on them.
Developers should play the steam game 'Fleet Command', a lot of great ideas can be had that would improve this game even more.
Developers have already fixed most of my quibbles with game patch updates!
Off to play another round...Toodleoos!
