Fun time killer. And it has a Sandbox mode!
Achievements were achievable pretty easy, but you can make the game harder if you want to really work for them.

If you looking for an easy and relaxing simulation building game, this is for you!
Ive been playing it for 2 straight days, while watching a tv show. It's so easy to get into and easily addicting.
Only criticism I would give is that the last 20-30% of the game progression is very boring. It's just grind and repetitive gameplay. So some variety in the endgame content would be good.
Some pointers i have that could make the game better:
- Have fires be more detrimental to your tavern. Right now they are a bit tedious, but honestly the only thing you lose is the costumers on that floor. I think a bigger set-back could add some difficulty to the game.
- I would set the base salary for workers as higher. Rn the base salary is so low you can basically just buy a massive chunk of waitresses and not really take into account which floor they should handle. If a waitress would cost you more money, you would have to be more smart with how you place them.
- More adventures and quests. You go through these pretty quickly. Almost half of the game you spend farming the last adventure item. And the daily quests can be pretty repetitive, i feel like you can easily add more variety here.
Just leaving this ideas because I love the game so much, and just want it to become better

While many may be put off by the lack of micromanagement, the game is all-around solid. It's essentially the "meat and potatoes" of tycoon builders. No flourishes and extras, just straight-forward expansion with a hint of simplified management. Can't recommend it enough for the price.

The game is nice and chill.
My only complaint is refilling barrels - unlike food storage that you can just right-click and be done, barrel refill is always an animation that zooms on the counter and takes extra clicks, plus even if you brew some of the beer or wine yourself, clicking refill-all always buys for gold instead of using your own brew, so once you start brewing you have to manually refill barrel by barrel to remain optimal, which is a very frustrating minor issue.

This is a decent game to play when you have nothing to do and are bored, it allows for a lot of customizability of your Tavern, and is fun to manage.
That being said, I really wish the game would have had a function to adjust all beds at the same time, adjust the prices of all beds within a single room at the same time, and adjust selected beds at the same time. I feel like this wouldn't be an issue to do for the developers, as they did it for selling, storing, or moving furniture, so I'm sure they could do it with adjusting the prices of beds, too.
Aside from the beds, I also wish they'd have a similar adjustability for staff, as well as furter sorting options - sort by level, sort by name, sort by salary being a few examples for options, - and for grouping. As the game is right now, you don't have any sorting available to you, the game groups staff by floors and only allows the collapsing of each floor, it does sort staff by role - bartenders, maids, researchers, cooks, etc. being separated by a space or two in each floor, - but it doesn't allow you to collapse only one role or the other, only collapse an entire floor's worth of staff. There is also no option to adjust the stats or priorities for more than one staff at a time, something that gets VERY tedious if you have 50+ staff members spread out among 4 floors + a basement.
While there is a lot of room for improvement for this game technically, it is still a fun game to kills time with, and is relatively easy to figure out without need for looking up wiki articles or guides, etc.

This game is very relaxing and easy to get lost in. You start with a small tavern and the next thing you know, it's been 5 hours and you haven't looked away from the screen. The replayability isn't great however, it's kind of a "do it once and that's all you'll ever need" kind of experience. Worth it as long as it's on sale and you're looking for a mindless time killer.

It is a very great way to waste time for sure. This cute little sim game does have some flaws though like faulty paths especially during events which lead to not meeting the quota for research effectively. But other than that, it's what you'd expect from a cute sandbox sim. Maybe purchase on sale :3

Tavern Master is a charming, stress-free sim that quickly became one of my favourite go-to games. The light-hearted nature of running a tavern, designing the perfect space for guests, and managing staff kept me hooked for hours. While some of the achievements can be a bit time consuming, I still really enjoyed ticking them all off.

Would I recommend this game to other players? No I don't think so. Well the game is 4 euros or so and it can keep you engaged for 3-4 hours and that's pretty much it.
The game is not optimized for mac players. You need to struggle a bit at the beginning because you need to double click on everything. You need to get out of fullscreen, close the game and get back to it in order to solve this issue. Also from performance point of view, you can't play comfortably on mac. I wonder none of the game developers from Untitled Studio were aware of this or simply did not care. When you make your game available for macOS, make sure it really works.
The game has 800 points of quest system and they are super repetitive. you do 300 quests of serve main dishes for one single day, desert or soup, defend against thieves, arrange an event. This is pretty much it. When you already have 2 million gold, the game still rewards you with 2000 gold. Only 13% of the players have completed the final achievement pretty much explains why. So basically you give 4 euros and get entertained 2 to 4 hours for a half finished, hurried-to-publish.

Gets boring after a while. Not a lot of variety to gameplay.
