Fantastic Zachtronics game. The cell automata game was especially cool.

Super pleasant visuals and music. I loved the two solitaires and the Dungeons & Diagrams game, but had no idea how to play any of the other games. I think there is something to like in this collection for almost anyone. Just be warned that half of the games are not casual puzzle games.

9/10. Excellent. Very easy to recommend to any lover of puzzles. You have been given a Z5 Powerlance computer that comes with an anthology of 8 puzzle games. Some games are better than others, but all of them are good. A few of them are fiendishly difficult. They are presented with a framing narrative which seems like a semi-autobiographical story about the developers themselves, as the story revolves around the lives of the fictional software developers who created the various games. Some of the standout games: -20th Century Food Court- This one is probably the most substantial game in the collection. Also one of the most challenging. You have to create assembly lines for food products within a limited space. The solution usually has to account for one or more potential variables, being able to produce any possible food order. You also have to place the modules which control your factory machines in a limited space on the screen. This one feels the most like other games by Zachtronics, although it can't really be compared to any particular one of them. Very challenging and satisfying to solve. -Dungeons and Diagrams- My personal favourite in this collection. This one makes for a good palate cleanser between levels of the more difficult games. A simple, well-designed fantasy puzzle game. You have to fill out an 8x8 grid by placing the walls of a dungeon, following certain rules such as enemies always appearing in a dead end, and treasure chests being in a 3x3 room with one entrance. Very stylish. Very satisfying to solve. Once you reach the end of the game you can generate new levels at random, which are usually just as good as the ones in the campaign. -Steed Force Hobby Studio- A simulator where you build little gundam model kits. First you cut the pieces out of a plastic frame, then you assemble the model. After that, you can paint and decorate the mech. This is by far the easiest game in the collection, and the one I spent the least time on. However, I could see how someone else might spend much more time on it if they enjoyed painting the mechs. -XBPGH: The Forbidden Path- This one has a dark, creepy sci-fi aesthetic which I really enjoy. The presentation is very mysterious and atmospheric. I won't say much about the mechanics, because learning the rules of the game is part of the challenge. Later levels are fairly difficult. The most stylish game in the anthology.
